Guest guest
generally we know, or at least the theory accepted, regarding the 8 limb path , going back to the rishis and development of yoga that the system actually developed backwards in relation to, now where one would normally be instructed to start. In other words, asanas ,pranayams were codified by observance and recording of the awakening of shakti. So my question - then would one hope that one of the last effects from being in nirvakalpa samadhi would be purity ? If one starts out NOT pure, a) is that acceptable (with the hope of real purity in the end), b) can it lead to purity (the niyamas) or will it be destructive. You see what I'm saying ? If things flowed the opposite way as we normally approach it (or some approach it) the the niyama's particular y the mental ones should follow.
