Guest guest
The Jiva is not the SELF bv: i caught u - wht time is it there b: hi lalla b: 5am bv: ok its 1am here bv: b: 1am? - why are yu not asleep? bv: i don't know how to tell u this but i am gettng more and more involved in understanding my spiritual path i can't eat or sleep i am searchng and searchng like once you did. b: hmm bv: i learnt an important lesson; that meditation just happens we cannot make it happen; concentration contemplation then meditation. b: excellent! bv: i don't have to teach you all this but i am just happy to share with you; am i right? b: yes... bv: i still have a lot to share with you when time permits. b: The meditation that we could say is MANUFACTURED when we TRY to meditate is a product of the mmind trying to create it; i.e it is the Jiva thinking HE is meditating; whereas the moments of meditation that happens by themselves... are glimpses of truth bv: hmm: so actually speaking we medidate every moment. b: Yes. think of smoke gradually merging with the air slowly it gets less and less visible then is gone; like smoke there should just be a letting go of i-ness and me-ness; there should be a letting go of the Jiva " AS " self. bv: a letting go of the ego " AS " self.. b: yes. This letting go should be a constantly remembered and practiced attitude. bv: yes guru; Thankyou b: it should be the natural state of merging and manifesting, like clouds coming and going. There should be no preferred state of mind (no preferred mode of consciousness) as all modes are HIS and HE plays in all rejecting none bv: The Concept of spirituality is so beautiful if one understands. b: mmm - it is not a mystery... there is nothing hidden .... it is right in front of us. All beings are HIM existing " AS " that being ...(HE is existing as that being in that mode of consciousness) and is free in all modes of that being and of all beings " AS " all beings also. b: There are no beings he prefers more than another ... not even gods and guru's - all are equally HIS and HIM b: yet when the Jiva sees HIS (the Self's) reflection in the mind, the jiva thinks he has reached enlightenment b: this is not so; the jiva has no self or consciousness of his own. The one who is conscious in him is THE SELF even when HE (THE SELF ) chooses to be ignorant of who HE IS ... b: He (THE SELF) is said to be asleep as-to-who-he-is; when the Self awakens as to who-he-is... b: he (THE SELF) is said to be the awakened one ... i.e. HE is awake to who-he-is. bv: beautiful thankyou; i am glad you came at the right moment again to me. b: so lalla ... as Jiva people think that THEY (THE JEEVA) must surrender to this thinking and\or attitude of mind they think HE will then save them .... they pray and pray for this and that... but HE won't! bv: hmm b: This is because the Jiva is not real....i.e if HE (THE SELF) acknowledges the existence of Jiva as a REAL being ... who has a self of his own.... then he (THE SELF) is validating the reality of the Jiva... bv: hmm b: Instead if the mind of the jiva is refined by constant rememberance of the REALITY of THE SELF in him (IN The Jiva) then that is a different thing altogether; then HE (THE SELF) has to acknowledge himself and free HIMSELF b: do you see the difference here? bv: yes, we should let go the ego of the ego-as-self ... let go of Jiva-as-self. and be universal love. b: Yes this is an attitude of faith and trust (which means acceptance of THE SELF " AS SELF) whereas the other attitude is the seeking of the validation of the Jiva-as'self; when in reality the jiva has no self of his own at all. bv: cool it take it slowwwwwwwwwwww bv: hmmm bv: now i bid u gudnght b: mm.. __/|\_ b: good night :Lalla bv: have a good day b: sleep well bv: and me a good sleep pranam with hugs bv: hope to c u again online soon b: bye now bv: byeeeeeeeeeee b: welcome bv: and thnx
