Guest guest
Many take Tantra as Black Magic. Tantra is one of the greatest philosophies. It has two parts Dakshin and Vaam Marga. Dakshin Tantra Takes us towards truth Through Gyan and Vaam Marga takes via path of Ananad. Later, Vaam Marga was defamed by some people who in the name of Tantra used vaam marga for sex, wine and wealth...and slowly it reduced to black magic. Black magic makes makes just 0.5% of Vaam Tantra. When Tantra lost its original shape is not known. But its deformed Vaam Marga flourished a lot. Mahabharata times had such Tantriks in High mountains and later on in 1st and 2nd century these vaam margi Tantrik had taken over India. People were Afraid of them because of the black magic they performed with the help of wine, meat sex etc....Tantra was the path hated becoz of them, and people avoided them. During 1st Century the kings of India were the 3rd/4th generation of king Kanishka. It was during this regime that the correct Vaam Marga of Tantra was revived by Tantrik Ashwaghosh. His main disciple Nagarjuna (who was from south India..perhaps Andhra Pradesh), carried the work of his guru forward. It is said that the Mahayana sect of Budhism is actually based on the teachings of Nagarjuna. Somewhre in Andhra Pradesh Nagarjuna established his first Tantra Kendra and started teaching the Vaam Margi Tantra to his disciples, most of whom were Budhists. in 800 ad a great centre for Tantra was established in Bihar with the name VikramShila. In 1202 Muslim invaders destroyed VikramShila and killed all inmates, but by then the centre had produced 84 Sidhhas (perfected tantriks). Though common men hated those tantriks becuase they were unable to understand their ways of wine, sex and meat. Sir John woodroff's book " Shakti & Shakta " has a detailed explanations of these path. Now coming back to 84 sidhhas....Nagarjuna and other sidhhas (named Sarhapa, shabrpa, tilopa etc) were all most perfect in Vaam Marga of Tantra and were busy in enjoying lower sidhhis like Yakshini, Dakini, Shava sadhna, Karnapishachini etc. One of the sidhha JallundharPa had a great disciple named MatsyenderaPa (he became Nath from Pa later). So One day Matsyendra was visiting a village, and a woman requested him to bless her for a son as she had no child and her husband was angry with her. Matsyendra Nath gave her a mango and told her to eat that mango, but also asked her to give her son to him as disciple when he would be 12 years old. The woman, after hearing many bad things about Tatriks threw the mango in a pit where cow-dung was thrown. After 12 years, Matsayendra Nath came to her and asked for her son. She was afraid and she told the story of mango to him. Guru Matsyendra nath went near the pit and called, " O my son it is 12 years...come out and be my disciple " Hearing this a brilliant boy of 12 years came out of the pit. He was named GorakshNath (called Gorakh Nath too). Gorakh Nath was a Sidhha by birth and knew all the Tantra at that age. Gorakh Nath was the only Sidhha who purged the Vaam Marga Tantra of the impurities of 5 Ms. and created/revived another Marga called Kriya Yoga or Dakshin Marga. This sect was called " Nath Panthh " and the disciples of Gorakh Nath are called Naaths. They are also called " Kanfatey yogi " becoz they wear big Kundals in their ears and thus their ears have big holes lumping down. Gorakh Nath was the only Human till then, who was taught Tantra by Lord Shiva himself. Lord Shiva also blessed him to be alive till Mahapralaya and spread the correct path of Tanta. GOrakh Nath removed the ignorance of his guru Matsyendra Nath who was hooked up by a woman Tantrika, who used him for lower siddhis. It is also said that when Goraksh Nath reached Jawalji Temple (In himachal Pradesh - this temple was a great centre of Tantriks and we still have Nagarjuna and gorakhnath temple there)...Mother Jawalaji (which is a local name of Dhumavati, the seventh of 10 Mahavidyas), appeared before him and asked for wine and meat as per Shakta rituals. She insisted she will be only happy if he presented her wine and meat. Guru Gorakh Nath understood that it was test from Mother for him...and by his wits, he got her promise to take Sattvic food as offerings. so Gorakh Nath made a fire out of nothing there and asked mother to remain there till he comes back to offer her prashad... It is said Mother is still waiting there, as gorakh nath deliberately never went back so that the Shakti permanently resides in Jwalaji. Nathh sect do all the Tantric Sadhna without using 5 Ms i.e. without meat, wine, sex, mudra, matsya. Their Sadhnas are centered around Chakras, Nadis and Kundalini.. and many of them are great sidhas...they have many psychic powers, but normally they do not exhibhit their powers to common people. Many say Gorakh Nath was re-incarnation of Patanjali....and it may also be true that he may be no other than the " Babaji " mentioned by Yogananda in " Autobiography of a Yogi " They cry " Alakh Niranjan " as salutation or to ask for alms or to call god. Alakh Niranjan
Guest guest
Very nice Aum, Can you tell me something more, about the basic principles of such a sadhana, and what one has to do and what they achieve finally. At a higher level it seems to be related to Lord, i want to know this nature and potential of his. Because by my meditation i know that i have some of the inherent techniques revolving around chakras, and also There is another wya to Invoke each chakra, that is by invoking sukshma chakras related to that main chakra. But the knowledge about these sukshma chakra and how to find whcih main chakra it is related is difficult, as it has almost flourished. So i want to know, if your tantra and vaam Maarga, has anything related to this. Guest guest
Dear Aum, My Dear Brother, you can help me, This has something to do with my past, but do not know exactly what, Can you please tell me more about this, as i do not know much. Please let me know. Basically what is the basis of such a saadhana, and what does one achieve , and what is the methods used, and why wine , meat and something else you told are used. this post is full of questions to me, but yes i do agree i know other way of achieving the same siddhis. But once one becomes a siddha, as yo utold there is always a possibility of getting into material enjoyment, and also being a kruri, because of the powers they have. -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , " Aum " <beirut_ka_baba wrote: >Tantra Takes us towards truth Through Gyan and Vaam Marga takes via > path of Ananad. Vaam Marga is alive only as Aghoras in India, and we have at least one genuine Aghora & one Naathh in this group. If they are reading these messeages, may be he can throw some light. Vaam Marga,is called the path of the bravest. Vaam Marga does not reject anything in the world. they take the basic so called bad habits (like drinking, sex etc)....and make it so divine that one can reach the final enlightenment. Vaam Marga can not be done without initiation by proper guru, which is impossible to find now. Vaam marga is the fastest way to enlightenment. The aim of Tantra is to merge into the supreme consciousness and this they achieve not by rejecting any thing, but by accepting the whole universe as body of Mother Shakti, in mating with Shiva. Nathh Sect takes out the 5 Ms, and do Sattvic sadhna. their main sadhna is awakening of kundalini, cleaning of chakras and anhad Naad. This subject is very deep, and can be taken piece by piece....Shanracer can suggest you some books to have a first hand idea of the subject. Sir John woodroff is the authority on Tantra in modern times... He was Judge in Bengal court in British times, and learnt Tantra from the most authentic gurus. Kundalini and chakras are very important as all sadhnas in the world, done by any religion, finally lead to clearing of chakras and awakening of kundalini. Tantriks do it directly. Tantra is so deep and profound philosophy that if we understand Tantra we can understand all religions and all paths of all religions....where they stand what they achieve The main philosophy of Tantra speaks of 36 elements which constitute the Universe...understanding these Tattwas. So Tantra is basically Shakti path+shaiva path + 36 tattwas. A true Tantrik is a true Bhakta, a true gyani and a true Yogi. i will write something more on this, as much is permitted by Mother shakti AUM
Guest guest
I suddenly got interested in this because i have seen in my visions of the temple of Lord Hari, i usually keep describing , there is a vast area, whcih are with ashrams, and there i see many saints teaching this to students, but it has nothing to do with wine etc etc.. and really in no way black or crooked.. it is just like a detailed study whcih is being thought by grate looking saints, and i see students practicing, i have also seen in my puja, one very charming boy assists me while i try to place a Beautiful long Petaled lotus on Lords Bujha, i am not able to reach , and this young charming boy form one of the schools, Requests me the flower and using his siddis he places the flower automatically without toughing it. And he does the same thing s what all others do and goes back to his school. all these are not dreams, all these look to me like , some divine place, whcih is present somewhere or will be established. but i dunno how i am always there, as i have never witnessed. Also my of hari in my heart is also influences by this place. i do not know where this place is, and even do not know if it is existing or it will be manifested. But i am not that concerned, because everything happens at lords will, so he would have wanted me to see this things and i would have seen, and when he wants me to witness i may witness too. -- Deito Harirnama Harirnama Harirnama Kevalam. , " Aum " <beirut_ka_baba wrote: >

Like yr vision, you soul is connected to the higher astral planes, where your Sukshma sharir sees these scenes and transmits them to your brain, who transliterate them according to his capacities. Tantra is not necessariy wine and sex... Dakshin Marga tantra or Nathh tantra are purely sattvic and are equally powerful. It is said there is still a big Ashrama of Dakshin Tantriks somewhere in Tibet, but no one can find it. Only those students who are ready to initiation are taken there by sidhas. Guest guest
yes you are correct, and i can verify the authenticity, because when i experience these , these are very different from dreams, and my Self will never be ready to agree that they are dream, but in case of dreams, i can easily make out. that is my place, where i guess i had been, or will be some time. Guest guest
Senthilji, I dont think its an Ashram of people who write books.... as if it was, everybody would be running there now to make gurus, & it would no longer be secret! Such an Ashram does exists. It is said Masters of all religons converge there & decide big question of Earth. They act as link b/w Heaven & Earth. The interesting thing I read was, even though its in Tibet, most Tibetans dont know about it, & most of its inhabitants are not Buddhists, but Hindus, Pagans, Shamans from all over world. You must be a very high level Sadhak, almost near Moksha, or even attained it, to be invited there. If you have read any books by Alice Bailey, she talked to a very high level Tibetan. But that Tibetan used Hindu terminology, which makes me think he was once Hindu, but moved to Tibet. The Tibetan calls the Ashram Shamballa(not to be confused with city of same name), & describes it as a place where high level Gurus routinely contact Astral & Causal World Rishis to see how Humanity is to be progressed(which may include how & where Avtaars will be born etc). Thats all I know. When I am near Moksha, & if they invite me, I'll be sure to tell you!
Guest guest
ShanJi, Thanks. Robin sharma in his book also says something similar to what you said. A famous lawyer from UK suddenly leaves the country and after several years returns back to his native, even his assistants do not recogonise him. at this juncture he narrates what happened. in this he states that he was in search of truth, and accidentally he ends up in himalayas and there after a lot of toil a siddha take him to that ashram refered in your/babaji's post where he is tested again and taught several things. thanks for your reference, will look for those books aswell.
