Guest guest
Pranam In Orkut I have started a topic on Hindu Rituals and Routines what we do normally like pooja or namaskara, or applying tilak etc., and one of the reader has sent me a scrap which is as follows Gone Down Under: I read your explanations in the Hinduism community and they are very helpful. I was raised in Canada and I do not speak Hindi. You write, and therefore I believe speak, with a clarity and ease that would appeal to the younger generations of Hindus abroad. It is very difficult to attain " answers " or " explanations " , at least I found it so, living outside of India. Have you ever considered holding seminars, workshops, to interact with Hindus in other countries? I was raised in Toronto, and I know there are people there who would love to understand more about Hinduism, teach their children, follow the teachings...but guidance is lacking. What ends up happening are just the following of rituals, without knowing their significance, and eventually even that gets lost down the road. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I would like to know who can help these people out there. Thanks Regards Badri

I jumped to Spirituality from Atheism, bypassing the rituals. so I dont think i will be of any help there. I am sure someone from our group would be able to visit your Orkut page and write.
