Guest guest
namaskar to all i think soul does not resides at a fixed place in the body . it changes the places as our though changes. when we concentrate on ajana chakra ,it comes to middle of the forehead sometimes outside too . as it revolves like an electron revolving around the sun. sometimes it remains int he heart when we sleep or when we reach to final state of samadhi. what is your opinion could you add something to this please HARE KRISHNA ,HARE KRISHNA,KRISHNA KRISHNA ,HARE HARE,HARE RAMA,HARE RAMA RAMA,HARE HARE
Guest guest
> soul does not resides at a fixed place in the body . it changes the Jitendarji, it depends on what you mean by soul? The word soul is used for Conciousness by some, but more commonly, people use it for the desire mind(eg, my soul wants to fly free! they mean their desire mind wants to expand). If we take soul as conciousness, the Vedas say the center of our awareness lies in a place in the heart(not physical heart, or even Heart chakra, but heart is center of our causal body). In deep sleep, or Samadhi, our awareness descends to this Heart. The Jivatama is also said be live in the heart. But yes, our awareness moves all over body, usually residing between eyes. If you take soul or awareness as Pran, mosts people Pran is at the lower chakras, as they are only interested in eating, sex & staying alive. In this case, the " soul " can be said to reside in lower chakras.
