Guest guest
namaskar sometimes i feel that for maintaining a good character ,you may deviate from yogi my opinion Lord said so many things that one should not hate even sinner . if you forgive a sinner and if you are the part of society then do you think that you will be able to maintain a good character or do not you think that your character would be like a coward. PEOPLE WOULD NOT RESPECT YOU. your opinion please add : thanks HARE KRISHNA ,HARE KRISHNA ,KRISHNA KRISHNA ,HARE HARE,HARE RAMA ,HARE RAMA,HARE RAMA ,HARE HARE

PLEASE WAIT TILL > EVENING >namaste again. Its more important first to cultivate a good character that becomes so strong in you that you arent deviated from it.Because without a good character you will always face more and more delays and difficulties in yog.I suggest thayt you see a developed character as a yard stick to measure your sadhna. In Srimad bhagvatam Lord Krishna speaks on dharma/ righteousness- " Dharma is thar which directs towards my bhakti " . Speaks to Uddhava(canto ten) about it, some of which is this- " Non violence, truthfulness, not coveting or stealing from others property, detatchment, humility, freedom from possesivness, trust in the principles of religion, celibacy, silence, steadiness, forgiveness , fearlessness are twelve primary disciplinary principles.(of morality that are important for progress on path of any yog) Internal and external cleanliness, chanting of name, austerity, sacrifice faith, hospitality, worship of me, visiting holy places, acting and desiring only in relkation to bhakti and service to Guru are twelve elements of regular prescribed duty. These twenty four bestow all desire benedictions upon those who cultivate them " So its a very important part of yog to develop a good character otherwise there is no progress. Also I feel that arising of worries , doubts etc is natural in sadhna but it isnt necesaarry because Krishna takes the responsibilty of your sadhna when you begin. Things take natural and right course and we worry that something wrong might happen. My thoughts are this that one need not analyse sadhna too much and should just flow with things. Jai Ram ji ki thanks aradhana means those who are on the path of sadhana and are really devoted , they will have thoughts accordingly . perhaps nobody will be sinner for him and also nobody will force him something which he has to loose his character. it is like that fame is not desired by yogi but it comes automatically.character is not desired ie one does not think about the chareacter good or bad but it is made automatically in sadhana . if God put you into those situations where you have to forgive sinner it could be your testing ,WE SHOULD NOT THINK THAT WE ARE PUNISHING HIM OR FORGIVING HIM .but whatever action is taken we should think that it is taken by the God himself.that action should not be the part of thinking .thinking is the main parameter. hence if we are on the right path and following the characteristics as you said , we need not think about anything and everything good or bad with us would be the part of sadhana. I just said that God directs and helps throughout so we can flow and neednt worry no one will be a sinner in eyes of sadhak only when he has progressed much I think otherwise not. We have to think as long as we havent reached our destination that this is to be done and that isnt to be. I was only saying that God takes the responsibilty and is constantly with us but not that we overlook our faults completely. We have to act in the right way to progress so we have to develop character but that happens naturally through sadhna with time but if we commit mistakes deliberately thinking that there is no need to care because God will help we will have to suffer terribly. The law of karma is such that the offences comittted knowingly have fatal consequences. So sadhaks should try his level best to avoid mistakes. Not analysing and worrying too much and flowing with things isnt the same as refusing to take responsibility of your actions
