Keeping deep faith..continuously is not possible practically. It is only when a Bhakta reaches on very high ladders of surrender that he has this non-breaking shraddha. In the beginning days, we do have shraddha, but our actions are affected by many factors...like our past karma, our sanskars, our environment, the depth of our faith and grace of god. Now in the beginning we can not have all these factors to our favour...and whenever something goes wrong, our faith is shaken...we always think - Ohh how much i loved God and looks he did this to me. The key is to understand god's love first. If a Bhakta has a feeling that since he loves God, now nothing bad will happen to him..must understand God is not there to fight our personal wars. We have to face the bad situations...and sometimes God deliberately creates such situations for us,...to clear us of our bad karma, and to put our faith in him. So there are three stages of Sadhna 1- We realise that god has started caring for our needs and sadhna 2- we realise that not even now..but when we started sadhna long ago..god started taking all our things into his hands 3- We finally realise that ... irrespective of our sadhna..God had always been guiding us and taking us towards the heights where we are now.. It is only after the 3rd stage is clearly seen, that the faith become un-breaking. Those who are bhakta and have a little hope that God will take care of the problems...and that they would not be subject to any tyranny...are seriously mistaken..and only such bhakta's faith is shattered..and many of them become atheists. We can further discuss this if some feed back is given. Aum

This is natural. Because of past karmas and vikaaras that are very strong we are bound to be distracted from sadhna my such negativities. However a sadhak suffers viyog because of these negativities and his suffering burns his karma and leads him closer to God. This is an inseperable part of sadhna. These negativities sooner or later you will try to counteract because of your love for sadhna and you will win over them only after strugglng and suffering much Lord Krishna says- I never stopped you loving for a moment but I disappeared because when I do so a devotee becomes like a pauper who had just gained some wealth and lost it. So in this worry and difficulty as to how he can not be seperated from divinity even for a moment he becomes closer to God. You have no choice but to embrace pain if you want oneness. Because then you will be one forever. Saint Mira sings- " the unripe mango of love is very bitter in the beginning but later its very sweet " it means that in early stages of purification there us extreme difficulty but later there is eternal bliss and oneness. The scriptures say that whatever difficulties we have to bear in sadhna we should face with courage for we are actually giving very little to get back a lot Any way I can understand your concern but you have to cope with this situation as all other sadhaks have to. Who ever said that shraddha and love are easy and that too after repeated cycles of birth and deaths and lack of love. The thirst devours you only then you can quench your thirst. The greater is viyog, the greater becomes love I think Hare Rama
Guest guest
Dear fellow devotee, Jai Shri Ram! Are you a beginner, or have travelled some distnce? Revered Aum has cleared your doubts nicely. I would like to add a little. During sadhana, interception by thoughts, good or bad, is inevitable and unavoidable. They are bound to interfere as they are produced in 'mind'. Mind is ocean of thoughts and one can not predict what thought will come at what time. Though thoughts are incessantly encroaching, don't leave sadhana or meditation. Let the thoughts go freely. Only one thought will come and play at one time. Just watch its activities and at the end when mind will take a little pause, as it'what did you get out of this?'. Follow this method for other thoughts and the mind will have no answer. it will automatically shy and keep quiet and day by day the frequency will be reducing slowly but certainly. Note that one can not control the mind at any time, except change in the way of thinking and way of worship. Revered Guru will guide in this matter in better way. In mean time we can apply this method. Quietness of mind is God's gift. If you study Shreemad Bhagaad Gita, especially chapter 6, you can get some idea to control mind. Don't worry and don't leave sadhana. (Sadhana group also). Heartful regards. -- In , " jigyaasuu " <jigyaasuu wrote: > > dear co sadhakas, > pranam > i know it seems foolish at first instance....but could you plz let
