I was talikng about none other than Guru Gorakh Nath ji who is the

disciple of Matsyendra Nath ji. We call him Macchhendra Nath because we

are punjabis.

Scriptures because it hurts me. For example if someone says Krishna

isnt God to us who are Hindus think how angry and hurt we must feel.i

O.K. to begin with I dont know if there was or not any Nath Guru before

Guruji Machchendra Nath. Guru Gorakh ji started Nath panth.

And the fact is that both Guru Gorakh Nath ji and Shri Peer Ratan Nath

ji are incarnations of Lord Shiva.

Shri Ratan Nath ji , one of his disciples was a prince who left

everything to serve Guru Gorakh Nath ji. In fact I never say he " was "

because he still is.

 

tHE NATH PANTH WAS STARTED SOME AROUND 1500 YRS AGO BY GURU GORAKH

JI.GURU GORAKH IS AN INCARNATION OF KALIYUGA AND KALIYUGA STATRED

AROUND 5000 YRS AGO.

 

WHILE SAMADHI ONE DAY GURU GORAKH JI SAW THAT IN KHURASAN IE

AFAGHANISTAN HINDUS WERE BEING TORMENTED TOO MUCH.SO HE SAID TO HIS

DISCIPLES- WHICH ONE OF YOU WILL GO TO KHURASAAN DHARTI TO PROTECT

HINDUS?

GURU PEER RATAN NATH JI STOOD UP AND AFTER HAVING HIS GURUS BLESSINGS

HE LEFT FOR HIS MISSION.

 

THERE HE DID MANY LEELAS AND MADE Devotees OF HINDUS AND MUSLIMS BOTH.

HE FREED THE HINDUS FROM OPPRESSION OF MUGHALS.

 

THE FIRST ONE BEING THAT HE MADE AN AASAN IN FOREST UNDER A DRIED TREE.

THE MUGHAL SERVANTS CAME AND SAID TO HIM JUST AS THEY USED TO BEHAVE

WITH HINDUS- U CANT SIT HERE BECAUSE THIS TUT/TREE IS DRY , WE HAVE TO

CUT IT.

gURU JI SAID - NO , THIS ISNT DRY

 

THE DURAANI LOOKED UP AND WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE TUT GREEN.

HE WENT TO HIS KING AND TOLD HIM THIS.THE MUGHAL COULD NOT BELIEVE AND

DECIDED TO SE THIS HIMSELF. WHEN HE SAW THAT THE TUT WAS GREEN HE WAS

SHOCKED AND SCARED. HE SAID- " YOU ARE THE PEER OF PEERS " AND BOWED

BEFORE HIM. BABA JI SERMONED HIM THAT HE SHOULD NOT TAKE REFUGE OF SINS-

" NAA ITNA ZULAM TAMA HAAKIM, KUCHCH KAHAUF KHUDA SE KAR HAAKIN, BURI

HAI GUNAH KI PANAH HAAKIM "

 

ONE DAY A KING SAID TO BABA RATAN NATH JI - WHY DO YOU WEAR THESE

KUNDALS? WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO BE DIFFERENT FROM US?

BABA JI SAID - LOOK IN THE MIRROR , YOU WEAR KUNDALAS AND THE SAME

DRESS. THE KING AND QUEEEN LOOKED IN THE MIRRROR AND THEY SAW

THEMSELVES SIMILAR IN GUISE TO BABA JI. SO THEY BECAME HIS DEVOTEES.

AND BABA JI ELICITED A PROMISE OUT IF HIM THAT HE FREES ALL HINDUS HE

HAS CAPTIVATED AND TORTURES MOST OF WHICH WERE SADHUS.

 

THEN THERE ARE MANY OTHER LEELAS TOO . FOR EG BABA JI SAID TO THE

ROWERS - " TAKE ME ACROSS THE DARIYA/LAKE " THEY REFUSED SAYING WE WILL

TAKE TWO ANNAS OR WE WONT FERRY YOU ACROSS. THOSE WERE MUSLIMS BECAUSE

THT AREA WAS MUSLIM DOMINATED SO MOST MUSLIMS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST

HINDUS. BABA JI TOOK HIS KAMLI AND PUT IT UPON THE SURFACE OF LAKE AND

SAT UPON IT. THE KAMLI STARTED MOVING ACROSS LIKE A BOAT. THE ROWRS

BECAME VERY ANGRY AND JEALOUS - HOW DARE THIS HINDU FAKKER DO THIS

WHERE WE WORK , THEY THOUGHT

 

SO THEY HURLED A WEAPON AT HIM. HE PUT HIS PALM BEFORE THE WEAPON AND

CHANGED THE ROWERS INTO STONES. HE SAID NOW PEOPLE WHO GO ACROSS THIS

RIVER WILL BOW BEFORE THESE STONES BECAUSE OF DEVOTION UNTO ME AND ONLY

THEN SHALL YOU ACHIEVE SALVATION.

THE NATHS TEMPLE IS HINDU AND JUST AS I SAID PEOPLE ASK QUESTION LIKE

YOU AS IF THEY ARE STARTLED - " DARGAH?? " THEY SAY. THE TEMPLE OF

NATHS ARE CALLED DARGAH MORE OFTEN THAN MANDIR. SHANRACER JI IS

RIGHT -JUST AS KABIRS STORY SO WAS THIS STORY THAT I TOLD URVASHI

SIMILAR TO NATH JI'S STORY.BUT I THINK KABIRS BADY CHANGED INTO

FLOWERS.

" KABIR ACCEPTETH ALL GURUY AND PIRS " HE SAYS IN HIS VERSE

 

MUSLIMS ARE MY BROTHERS AND AS MUCH GOD'S CHILDREN AS WE ARE. THE

PROBLEM IS THAT IF ANYONE IN INDIA SHOWS LOVE FOR MUSLIM BROTHERS

THEY START CALLING HIM ANTI HINDU JUST AS THEY SPEAK AGinst gandhi.

Aradhnaji, now I would like to give my story of Guru Gorakhnath.

1st thing, 1500 years ago Islam didnt exist, neither did Mughal

empire. Islam came to India 800 years ago(roughly). You are proably

talking about some chela of his, also called Gorakhnath.

 

Gorakhnath is much older than that- 5-10,000 years ago or more

according to my calculations. Westerners refuse to accept this, as

they have their own theories whereby civilisation started in Europe, &

Indians just " borrwed " it from them.

 

Gorakhnath was one of the 84 Siddhas, or perfected beings. Most of

these Siddhas used left handed Tantra. But as Kaliyug approached,

people started corrupting Tantra, Shiv cursed most of the Mantras.

 

Gorakhnath saw his own Guru Matsyendara Nath lost in womanising.

Gorakh then felt that Tantra would vanish this way. So he meditated on

Shiv, who in Tantra has same position as Brahm of Vedant. He recieved

Shiva blessing, & started the Right handed Nath Tantric Sampradya.

 

Gorakhnath made Yama-Niyama an important part of his Sadhna. His

followers are banned from using left handed Tantric practices.

 

The Kundal Naths wear in their ear is to preserve Brahmcharya. What is

called Acupenture was known to Naths long before Chinese. They knew

that there are certain Nadis in Ear that regulate whole body. Their

Kundal places a pressure on Swadhistan Chakra. So if a Nath breaks his

Brahmcharya, his Guru can know very easily.

 

Goraknath is a Historic figure, as he took Tantra, which till then

only existed as Left handed path in Tibet/Kashmir, & practically

invented Right Handed Tantra. Most of Kundalni Yoga was invented by

him. Thats why, though there are 84 Siddhas, Hindus only accept last

12-13, starting from Gorakhnath.

 

Gorakhnath still stays on Earth-guiding his students. Those who have

read " Autobiography of a Yogi " by Yogananda, will know that Babaji,

the Siddha he talks about, was a student of Gorakhnath. Along with the

Nath sects, Swamis like Yoganand, Satyannand Saraswati have been

teaching Gorakhs teachings in their purest form, as Kundalni yoga.

And Aradhana ji, I am the most scared of those people who talk of

scriptures only....and are ready to fight for scriptures.

 

I will have more respect for a person who has 10 mnts of self-

realisation, than a person who has spent 20 years reading scriptures.

 

For me...what We see, realise and feel is the Real truth, rest all

is inference or prejudice.

 

But now you see the profit of discussion ?? so many truths came

out!!!

I wonder why people think that others speak from scriptures only . I

also wonder why they think that they alone have experienced, seen or

felt the truth whether for 10 mints or 2 hours.We tend to speak of

big big things forgetting that God is truth personified and that

which we have experienced need not be the only complete ans superior

thing.

 

We forget that the truth of each is instinctive , comes from the

inner core and not through reading. We also forget that these

scriptures that were written by God himself are those that must have

initiated us in this life or some other. And we have taken thier

assistance many times. So we feel the truth and say the reading of

scriptures is less than knowing the truth or that truth may not be

complete knowing of scriptures. I believe in balance

Your information seems correct FROM THE LITTLE WHICH i KNOW . AS FOR

THE DATE i SPOKE VERY ROUGHLY . I WILL TRY TO REMEMBER THAT I FIND

OUT THE EXACT DATE NEXT TIME I VISIT. THE NATH SCRIPTURE IS TWICE AS

BIG AS SRIMADBHAGVATAM. I HAVENT READ EVEN A PAGE FROM IT. I KNOW

VERY LITTLE OF NATH ITIHAS. HOWEVER I KNOW OF MY OWN GURUS ONLY AND

NOT OTHER DISCIPLES OF GURU GORAKH NATH JI. Also the other disciples

are definitely in the scriptures of Naths but as I said I havent read

a page.

The nath sect has " NAU NATHS , CHAURASI SIDHDHAS, BAVINJA PIRS "

bUT shri ratan nath ji is the one who lead the sect after Guru Gorakh

Nath ji. There are great truths about Naths which are beyond reach of

common man.

 

 

These yogis gave all kundals in one leela to Ratan Nath ji. Each were

displaying thier sidhdhis and powers. When Guru Pir Ratan Nath ji

took a log of wood from havN KUND AND PUT IT ON GROUND AND IT

IMMEDIATELY BEGAN A TREE. SO THE YOGIS SAID- " YOU ARE THE PIRS OF

PIRS, TAKE OUR KUNDALS " THIS IS SAID AGAIN N AGAIN BECAUSE SHRI RATAN

NATH IS INCARNATION OF RUDRA. THE JAGAT GURU- SHIVA

THEY TRIED TO TAKE OUT THIER KUNDALS AND EACH TIME THEY ALL TOOK OUT

A NEW KUNDAL APPEARED ON THIER EARS. SO FINALLY SHRI RATAN NATH JI

SAID I WILL TAKE OUT YOUR KUNDALS. HE TOOK OUT THE KUNDALS OF EACH

WITH LOVE AND DECLARED- " FROM NOW ON YOU MUST WEAR THE SELI AND NAADI

(WHICH ARE ORNAMENTS OF NATHS EVEN NOW AND NOT THE KUNDALS). MY

DEVOTEES WILL REVER YOU AS LONG AS YOU WEAR THIS (IE YOU WILL BELONG

TO THE NATH SECTS AS LONG AS YOU WEAR THEM)
