Guest guest
Dear devotees, Pranaams. May this Diwali illuminate your minds, hearts and souls! Diwali shopping is for children. For me and people of my age it is only more thoughts, prayers and doubts. Written in Devanagari RAA KSHA SA becomes SAA KSHA RA. read in reverse. NARAKA was a Rakshasa because he showed hell to his subjects by his misrule. Lord Sri Krishna accompanied by Lady SATHYA BHAMA converted that NARAK to heaven. So it was a transition from darkness to light. No wonder it is celebrated with lights . Throughout in Hindu epics,Puranas,Ithihasas , the main theme is a battle between Devas and Asuras. To memorise all the Puranas my father told me a neumonic MA DWAYAM --two weth ma - Mthsya, Markandeya BHA DWAYAM CHAIVA two with bha Bharatam,Bhagavatam BRA THRAYAM three with bra Brahma, Brahmanda, Brahmavaivarthya VA CHATUSHTAYAM four with vaa Vayu,Vamana,Varaha,Vishnu A Agni NA Narada PA Padma LIN Liga GA Garuda KU Kurma SKA Skanda ni piraananipruthak pruthak More in next mail Thanks for reading. ijswamy ~SWAMY http://gjnanaswarup.spaces.live.com/blog/
