Guest guest
Hello to all, it seems that an eternity has passed since my last post. I have a question about the teachings of Krishnamurti and their application to life. Is it possible to find truth on one's own without any form of mediation, as he as stated on his speech " Truth is a Pathless Land. " ? Guest guest
, " theseraphicbeing " Hello Marco, Greetings! It is easy to say once you have achieved the goal that you do not need anyone. Did Mr. Krishnamurthi reach there without GURU? From the time he was born he was weaned away for special training, which all contributed to his mindset to achieve whatever he has achieved and then saying you do not need anybody looks kind of foolish. Look in nature all the females teach their young ones to hunt, to fly, to eat etc., Similarly we as humans had first teacher our mom without which we would be total misfit in this society. Then ofcourse came dad then other siblings neighbours etc., In schools we had different teacher for different subjects. So what makes him comment that spiritual path of which we have absolutely no background in anyway (we are like babes lost in jungles) can be traversed without a guide/guru/teacher whatever. In fact the internal journey is more dangerous and risky and travelling without a guide is fishing for trouble. No way the journey can be successful. Those who have tried like yogis on the strength of pranayama are still loitering in the astral world completely unawares of the actual path to come out and achieve final liberation (moksha). So please do not be deluded we need a guide and a guide who has gone there and come to explain the intricacy of the path. Ofcourse finding a guide is another story. Hope this answers your doubt. With warm wishes, Sudhakar HARI OM TAT SAT! Cheers! ) <elguapo_marco_2008 wrote: > > Hello to all, it seems that an eternity has passed since my last post. > I have a question about the teachings of Krishnamurti and their > application to life. > > Is it possible to find truth on one's own without any form of > mediation, as he as stated on his speech " Truth is a Pathless Land. Guest guest
I agree with Sudhakarji. Krishnamurty had the best Yoga and Buddhists Gurus, who taught him secret techniques. For him to then claim all techniques are useless is a bit hypocritical. Swami Satyananda Saraswati said when he got full enlightenment: " I now know that all the meditations I did over many lives were useless in getting me to this stage. I also know that if I hadnt done them ,I would never had reached this stage. A stage comes when you feel all sadhna useless, but to reach that stage you have to do sadhna " The difference between Krishnamurty & Satyananad is, Krishnamurty was a good Sadhak but bad Guru. Thats why none of his followers are famous. Thats why good Gurus are so rare- many people can find enlightenment for themself, but to explain to others is very difficult. Krishnamurthy was a great philosopher of vedanta but i doubt if he was enlightened himself, nor has anyone of his disciples got enlightenment. Enlightenment does not come with words alone or thinking alone. If one has tons of meditation done in last births...and in this birth he suddenly becomes enlightened... and he declares nothing is required for moksha.... look at me i got it without anything... is a false claim. Those who know the Truth, who become Truth, do not spread such messages. Aum
