Guest guest
PLEASE READ THIS MAIL. " IN ORDER TO CROSS-CHECK THE VALIDITY OF THIS INFORMATION I LOOKED AROUND IN MY HOUSE AND FOUND THAT MOM IS USING A GAS CYLINDER WITH A MARKING OF A 08 (i.e., expired on March 2008)......ALSO YESTERDAY SAW A CYLINDER VAN IN SURAT WHICH WAS CARRYING MANY COOKING GAS CYLINDERS, IN WHICH I COULD SPOT A CYLINDER MARKED AS B 07 (i.e., expired on June 2007). SURE THIS CYLINDER MUST BE GOING FOR DELIVERY OR RETURNING....... " DO CIRCULATE THIS MAIL AND HELP TRY TO FIND THROUGH CREDIBLE SOURCES IF THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT. Important Info !!!!! Have U ever heard about LPG gas cylinder's expiry date....!! I also didn't know how to find LPG cylinder's expiry date? Expired Cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents. In this regard please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinder

Re your query on gas cylinder expiry date, amongst my many students from different strata of society there is one who is having HP petrol bunks. When i raised this question he told me that he would check with the representative of HP and to give him one weeks time. After one week this is what he said. quote All petroleum products come with manufacturing date but there is no expiry date on any one of them. Therefore there is no need for any worry on this fact. unquote I hope this information relieves you. With warm wishes, Sudhakar HARI OM TAT SAT! Guest guest
Many thanks Dear Sudhakarji for your personal efforts on this issue. In fact I forwarded that mail to some personnel of two different Gas companies who are posted at LPG bottle refilling stations; but did not receive any feedback from them, so far. As I understand, this is to do not with the Expiry date of the contents (LPG) rather with the re-usability of the Cylinder. You information relieves me, yet wondering, then what does this painted code means??? like....A 08 or C 07 or D 13........one can easily find it in the domestic cylinders. Thanking you once again :-) Regards, Anupam spbyoga9 <spbyoga9
