People belonging to Yukteshwar Maharaj's kriya yoga tradition believe that we are in Dwapara yuga now. Well, when people do not even know what yuga is running and different great yogis hold a different view as to what yuga is running, surely it must be a sign of the deepening Kali! :-) :-( Yukteshwar Maharaj was a great yogi. But mistakes do happen. And there is a reason for everything. Jnaaninaamapi chetaamsi devi bhagavati hi saa balaadaakrushya mohaaya mahaamaayaa prayachhati. She can delude the minds of even great jnaanis. She does these things for a reason. As Kali is deepening, this basic confusion was *meant* to be created and Yukteshwar maharaj was Her chosen instrument. One more point.. There is supposed to be 1/4th dharma in Kali yuga. With the deepening Kali yuga, dharma in mainstream society will start to fall rapidly (even below 25% level!). It is probably happening already. If 99.99% of the society is not maintaining 25% dharma, it is the responsibility of the rest to actually maintain a very high level of dharma, compensate for the fallen and ensure that the overall dharma on earth is atleast 25%. Thus, as the society becomes more and more perverse, selfish and adharmik, some sections of the society will spring up that embrace a very high level of dharma. People living in those sections may even think that we are in Treta yuga, let alone Dwapara yuga! My 2 cents...
