Meaning:

Other than the Unique Lord, King of dwellers of himalayas,

Ambrosia for my soul, Lord of peerless enjoyment,

blessing the cloud-colored (viShNu) the Lord of clouds

Who rode him as the golden great palanquin,

Lord of yoga at the sky-landed rich temple at grand

thiruvIzimizalai, I do not feel the presence of anything else.

Notes:

1. Urn^tha mEganAyakanai - In one of the kalpas,

viShNu took the form of clouds and carried Lord shiva.

Hence that kalpa got the name " mEgavAhana kalpam "

2. viNNizi cezuN^kOyil - the abode that came from the

sky.

c.f. mizalai viNNizi kOyil virumbiyathE - cambandhar.

3. puyal - cloud; civikai - palanquin.
