Dear devotees,

This is small piece of information would be very useful for srividya upasakas

to do the upasana with Bhavana. Hence, i am sharing this with you.

Given below are the bija uddaras of pancha (5) bhutas, Kamakala Akshara and

Bhuvaneshwari. However, the inner secrets have to be learnt from Gurunatha who

is well versed in Samayachara and Srividya. He should be well versed in

Sanskrit, Veda, Vedanga and should observe the sadachara (right conduct) as per

the vedas.

Pancha Bhuta Bija Uddara and Tantric Lipa

1) Ham : Akasa Bija

This has been decoded from “Hari Padam” which means the “foot rest of Hari”

during Vamana Avatara. The first alphabet “H” is taken from this. The letter H

originates from neck during pronunciation and when we pronounce zero shape

(Hollowness) is formed in our mouth. In phonetics, it is called “Aspirate”.

Hence, in tantric lipi, Ham is denoted by Circle.

2) Yam : Vaju Bija

This is derived from “Yayuh” which means ‘Ever Blowing / Throbbing”. In

phonetics, “Y” is called Palatal because this sound is produced with the help of

lower jaw and tongue. Vaayu resides in the body as “Praana”. This praana has

shad (6) vikaras ie., i) Jayate (takes birth) ii) Asti (Sustains) iii)

Viparinamate (changes) iv) Vardhate (Expands v) Akakshiyate (contracts) vi)

Nasyati (Get destroyed).

These 6 vikaras are denoted by ‘Shat Kona’ or ‘Hexagon’ in Tantrika Lipi.

3) Ram : Agni Bija

As per phonetics, the ‘R’ is Cerebral. This sound is produced due to friction

between Upper Jaw and tip of the tongue. Since, fire is produced out of

friction, ‘R’is the bija of Agni. It is denoted by Triangle (Trikona) in

tantrika lipi as the fire looks broad at the bottom and conical at the top.

4) Vam : Jala Bija

This is derived from “Vaari” which means Water. As per phonetics, it is

labial ie., produced from Upper portion of teeth and lower lip. Lip is the

symbol of Jala as it is always Moist. Since, water requires support to stay

steady in its form, cup or Upward Curve is denoted for Vam in Tantrika lipi

which denotes the support for water

5) Lam : Prithi Bija

Prithi is denoted by the word ‘Loka”. The word “Bhu” is also called Prithi.

That which has 4 sides or boundaries is called Bhu. Hence square which has 4

sides is the tantrika lipi of Prithvi. In phonetics, it is Dental.

Kamakala Akshara and Tantric Lipi

The sloka " mukham bindum kritva... " in saundaryalahari gives the mantra

uddhara of Kamakala Akshara swarupa ie., 'E'. It denotes the kamakala akshara

swarupa in devanagari and sharadi lipi. It looks similar to inverted symbol of

" therefore " in Mathematics. The above two circles of this lipi is the bhavana

of sthana dwaya (survya Chandra) and the down circle is yoni sthana which is

Agni. The Panchadasi Mantra of Kuta Traya is to be comprehended here. The

esoteric sense of this lipi has to be learnt from gurunatha who is well versed

in srividya sastra and should be a samayachari.

Bhuvaneshwari Bija Uddhara and Tantric Lipi

When the siva bija " H " , shakti bija " R " and Kamakala Ashara “IM” are combined

it becomes " HREEM " which is a bhuvaneshwari bija mantra. The tantric lipi of

this HREEM mantra is like a coiled serpent. This serpent is formed out of the

combination of the tantric scripts of Circle of Akasa Bija, Triangle of Agni

Bija and the “inverted therefore” of Kamakala Akshara.

This serpent is the Adisesha of Mahavishnu under which rests the entire

universe and hence it is called Bhuvaneshwari.

Kamakala in Srisuktam

This kamakala akshara is also been praised in Sri Suktha. The mantra " Taam

padminim Eem sharanamaham Prapadye... " decodes this mantra. Here, " Eem " is the

kamakala akshara.

Shodashi Bija Uddhara in Srisuktam

There is also shodashi mantra uddhara in sri suktha. " Ashwa Purvam Ratha

Madhyam Hastinada Prabodhineem..... " mantra denotes that the consonant " S " has

to be picked from " Ashwa " and the consonant " R " from Ratha. It becomes " SR " .

The hastinada is denoted by " Eem " . The mantra becomes " SREEM " . Since, " SREEM "

bija is encoded in this sukta, it is called " SRI SUKTAM " in Rig Veda.

With regards,
