Regarding Matangi (Mantrini) and Varahi (Dandanatha)

i would like to add a note to the this email...

sri akilaneshwari of tiruvanaikaval,near trichy is none other than sri varahi

herself,just like matangi resides in madurai as sri meenakshi.

 

also, sri varahi has shrines at 1)tanjore temple,2)near pallur village,3)near

uttarakostimangai temple,3)near kashi(where one can have darshan thro' a

dwaram)4)in nepal.

There are 4 stages of Nada. They are Para, Pashyanti, Madhyama and Vaikhari. The

presiding deities of these 4 stages are as follows:

 

Para : Tripura Bhairavi

Pashyanti : Taraa

Madhyama : Mantrini (Matangi)

Vaikhari : Matangi

 

So, Matangi is the presiding deity of Madhyama and Vaikhari Nada. The

unmanifested Vak is Para and Manifested Vak is Vaikhari.

 

Matangi is the Deity of Thought. This Thought is the Source of Word or Speech.

This Thought is in form of Jnana Kala in Hridaya Guha. And hence, she is called

Jnana Sakti of Tripurasundari.
