Asya sree durga saptha shlokee sthothra manthrasya Naaraayana rishih anushtup chandah sree mahaakaalee mahaalakshmee mahaasarasvathyo daevathaah sree durga preethyartham sapthashlokee durgaapaate viniyogah Also, can the below verse be chanted at the end of the chant of Durga Saptashloki? What else she wants other than Love towards Her. If you take one step ahead towards Her, She would take 10 steps towards you. Infact, this is my personal experience. I was first taught only the sapthasloki. This parayana paved the way for the adhikara of Sapthasathi. Later i learnt Sapthasathi as a purana bhaga (without shadangas and mula mantra). After the parayana of Sapthasathi as purana pathana, i got initiated into Navarna and its angas. So, please continue the sapthasloki without any apprehensions. Who knows what is there in the Pandora Box? May be Mother wants you to go for it. You can download these. This sloka can also be found in the book Devi Sapthasathi, Gita Press, Gorakpur Publications. This book is published by Gita Press in almost all indian languages and the price is also very affordable by a common man. And last but not the least, please donot address me as THIRU AND ACHARYA. I am not fit enough to be addressed with these adjectives. Just call me as " Dear Sriram " and i would be the most happiest person on earth. Only Bhagavatpada Sankara is the Acharya and he only is fit enough to be called as Jagatguru. Rest of the people are just holding the portfolios. Moreover, i am not a upasaka of srividya unlike other members in forum. I am just a learner. So, treat me as your brother and address me as Sriram.
