what is the difference b/w samayachara and dakshinachara

Hi Learned members,

I wanted to know the difference b/w samayachara mode of worship and

dakshinachara mode.

Recently i met a upasaka who said " we follow what sri bhaskararaya teached and

follow shrivdya upasana. But in his navavarana puja he used in the

kalasha/patra, a reddish brown liquid. He also said sanyasis r not entitled for

srividya upasana as they have done ghata spota and renounced the world.

How to identify a true srividya upasaka? now a days people claim they r the

real upasakas and take advantage of young aspirants and misguide them.
