Guest guest
My dear friends and like minded persons Reg: Irrigated with Recycled water – Beware a legal caution. I just returned back from Grand Canyon – one of the natural wonders of the Globe in Arizona State of US. Some details are being mailed separately for your interest. In the meantime let me share with you one of my experiences. I came out of the Hotel just to vacate and leave the place and suddenly I found a small board in the lawn of the hotel wherein it is mentioned as “Irrigated with Recycled Water – Beware”. For some time I was in terrible shock to see this. After all we take the same such water even worst than this, for drinking purposes in our places in India, not to blame any one, but the situation is such – it is a daily struggle for existence. But then I got a lesson from the board. The board spoke to me something else; it gave me information as to how the hotel management is cautious about its legal position. Transparency – people particularly businessmen keep their position clear, every food item carries a label of its contents; every small toy manufacturer hints as to the purpose of manufacture and to which age group the good suits; at every step EACH CITIZEN/BUSINESS UNIT IS quite cautious. It is due to fear of legal complications and unusual penalties for the known/unknown mistakes. In my childhood days, I heard of stories where the Kings in the past used to settle the cases fast on hearing a just bell sound – the sound demanding justice; and even kings were not exempted from the legal purviews. That was the situation in India and Justice was so fast/timely/fairly available for the people. Perhaps it may be the reason why DHARMA DEVATA was walking in full swing on its own feet. I am not passing any remark against the system, but surely I request for certain reforms. Why can’t the apex court give directions to the lower courts that all cases should be disposed within four or five month’s duration from the date of filing the petition? Those past pending cases too can be given to those senior officers who are legally qualified by inviting persons who can work on voluntary basis. The least is that the time frame work can at least be set for those cases filed from 2nd October etc – some such specific date. Some kind of solution is surely possible – where there is a will there is a way. The apex court can also specify that there can not be more than three adjournments for any case or some such. Alas! So may educated, dedicated people we have in our country and we allow scams of what ever amount it is and the criminal is provided all guarding comfortably for years together. Does this not dilute the degree of the punishment and cause a damage to the exchequer and an irreparable damage to the Country and countrymen? This is the only promising area for the next generation to continue to live on their MOTHER LAND and justice must be assured and timely justice alone. Every inch of the country will ever remain alert and perhaps this is the only solution for us today for a better tomorrow – we are at the end of the life journey – better tomorrow is for the next generation; better tomorrow is for the Society; better tomorrow is for the Country. Why can’t we grant a promising future and a boon to our children and grand children? Major financial punishments will always keep the public offenders/criminals under control and it proves a better law and order situation. Please think what better we can do to our country – Who said India is Poor? – We can do wonders, let us begin to do wonders - Jai Hind Truthfully respecting the Lotus Feet of Great Grand Father Shri Krishna Dwipaayan Veda Vyas, The Great Sage Agasya, Holy Maharishi Sandeepani and Vamsa Rishi Gowthama, I take leave of you.
