Guest guest
My dear friends and like minded persons I have seen members agitated mind on “will Judiciary stem out or not” subject concerning the Global countries. This speaks as to how much the younger generation is agitated to bring in reforms in their countries. Perhaps, many young persons might have noticed and realized how difficult it is for a mother to conceive a child; nurse them; bring them up; educate them and take all pains and ultimately surrender them to the fate of a bomb blast, or a terrorist bullet or some such which takes the life in a seconds time. In other words, destruction is so simple a process while construction takes some years. Any country’s prosperity depends on a three tier system of administration, viz., Political, Administration and Judiciary. The Administration remains in the hands of Politicians who are today considered as persons with “0” values with a very very negligible exception. Power mongers are diluting the ethical values and this is seen either directly or otherwise. It is quite a difficult affair to bring any change, though in certain countries, we are fortunate, people ever remained as patriots and looked for the welfare of their country. But what the common man wants above all is NATURAL JUSTICE. In good olden days, even Emperors were covered by their Courts and harsh punishments were given to the rulers some times. Since it is difficult for us to change the mind set of Politicians and there upon the Administrative Heads, the only one option left for us is “Judiciary”. If cases are disposed fast and timely - this being the minimum need initially leave alone the quality of judgment, it passes a hope for the Countrymen that they have effective Grievance Redress Machinery. The next step is that, worldwide, there should be a common code where any case should not be adjourned more than thrice or so and a time limit is put for disposal of cases. In other words, there should be an International Understanding that cases filed should be disposed within six months and appeal time of one month and appeal disposal time of two months or so, so that, people will have some answer for their grievance within a period of 9 months. In certain countries, it is quite difficult to digest, when damage to the lives of a few thousands took place at the point of negligence of a Private Sector Business Office, the cases are still waiting for a verdict even after 2 decades. Are we doing justice to those innocent children of those who were victimized some time ago of 20 years? What human values do we have or adopted in a so called civilized set up? If we can not deliver Justice timely and if we can not adopt a technique to protect ourselves and the interest of the next generation, what for these International Organizations? What purpose do they serve? It would have been better for the human race to remain in Stone Age, without making an inch of technological advancement, as the Stone Age proved to be more comfortable for an ordinary man than now in the matter of disposal of grievances. The Punishments for the guilty were quite heavy; therefore, the crime rate was low then within the groups of the small societies of yester years. Keeping this in view, let us not dig for water in the sands of Politicians for bringing a total mindset change, but let us quench our thirstiness sitting in front of a river – a live river named JUDICIARY. This is possible when we try to bring a momentum. Overnight changes may not be possible, but the seed planted now, will make our next generations surely happier and this is the only one way available for us.
