KUMBHA MELA IN IRVINE CA USA

 

TARPAN VIDHAN AND AMATARPAN KRAMAM

 

This is further to my letter on this subject. I do not consider myself as a

very knowledgeable person with a strong base. There might be scholars with the

Organizers who can carry on the Event most lively and purposefully. However I

offer my services, if needed. I can give a small text of Tarpana Vidhan – Deva

Rishi Pithru Tarpanaas and Amavasya Tarpan Vidhan which can be printed and

circulated in different languages and given to the devotees attending the Kumbha

Mela so that they can follow the simplest procedure, on their own and retain the

copy for ever with them for future references.

 

This was done by me in Telugu and English during Godavari Pushakara and Krishna

Pushkara Times and a few lakhs of papers were distributed free of cost to the

Pushkar devotees and those who could do themselves the Vidhi, they did it, and

it was also helpful to the Pundits participating in the Pushkar to adopt the

systematic procedure uniformly.

 

I believe that this is one of the right services which we can do to our Hindu

Society. We can also print and publish some useful material for the common

benefit of all during this mighty get together. I shall feel happy to serve the

society.
