My dear friends and like minded persons

HUNGER MAKES HARD BEANS SWEET

It may be around 30 years now; my first letter to most of you was with this

caption. Brahmasri Kappagantu Sri Jwalaa Venkata Subrahmanya Yaaji, popularly

known as Chayanulugaru – who taught me Vedic knowledge and who created me

interest in Yagnaas, one day during the course of eleven days yaagam at

Vijayawada started telling me that offering a fruit to a knowledgeable person is

nothing but helping the knowledge to live and the offering is not surely to the

physical form of a living being. He said that every person is run by the Lord

of Sacred Fire. The Fire of Hunger makes all living being run and work. It is

our duty to make such living being live long in the better interest of the world

and universal peace and prosperity. Really it was something new to me and I

correlated his explanation with what I said in my letter 30 years ago – perhaps

the first ever lesson I received from Holy Gurus of those times, or may be an

intuition.

My eyes started seeing this concept from a different direction. UNIVERSAL

ONENESS is possible and surely possible only and only on ONE GROUND – HUNGER.

It is a common subject for all, whether a human being or otherwise. The sacred

Fire of Hunger makes all beings run in search of food; shoulder

responsibilities; travel distances; keeping up emotional relations; political

combats what not – NO ABSOLUTE EXCEPTION. All are governed by the PRINCIPLE OF

HUNGER – whether an animal; a bird; a human being or what ever it is. Religion,

Regional differences, attachments, boundaries and are all secondary.

Though this a common factor for all, then again, I thought that resourceful

persons, knowledgeable persons, persons who are committed to common cause,

persons who support the less fortunate in the society and so on should live long

– their hunger needs should be fulfilled first, so that they remain helpful to

the Society. That was an initiation for both me and my wife to offer food at

all possible places and in all possible atmospheres. Universal Oneness was the

concept which helped me to develop the unique subject COMMON UNIVERSALLY

ACCEPTABLE PAPER CURRENCY which is now useful to the Europe as Euro Currency,

the basis of which was to equate food needs globally in the first phase. Hunger

and Money are interrelated these days, when the concept was different in the

good olden days in India, hence the common universally acceptable paper currency

was designed.

A person, who could understand the VALUE OF HUNGER, is expected to respect

fellow living beings. This concept, if accepted, may lead to establishing peace

in the Society and this becomes an answer for many problems faced by the Society

Globally. Meeting the Hunger Need of any one is a constructive activity and

need of humanism which is a necessity of the day.

I have my deepest gratitude to the sages who advocated this concept in the names

of Bhoota, Atidhi, Manushya Yagnaas etc. They kept this as a daily routine

chanting and practice, so that none of the persons practicing this forget this

wonderful concept at any given point of time.

But I may have to mention the other too – TONGUE IS THE ENEMY OF NECK – over

indulgence in eating and talking – may lead to a disaster. If this is also

remembered along with HUNGER MAKES HARD BEANS SWEET, probably we may enjoy

better POLITICAL LEADERS in the days to come, who may promise a better future

and safety for the next generation.

Yours affly HARA HARA MAHADEVA
