Guest guest
For last couple of days, I have a unique doubt? Do we really exist? Who is this - " I " ? The name, the body - is that all we are or is it just a collection of the memories of the past. When we say - " I " , do we mean just those memories, which literally has NO MEANING now, except to remember the good times or the bad times, we have experienced in the past and on which basis, we try to spoil or make happy our present also. Do we actually ever give a chance to ourselves to experience the present fully? Do we really live or do we live thru a filter of past memories? And who breathes life in us - we ourselves or something else? Do we breath to remain alive or life just comes inside the body as a vital force to keep the body alive, till it decides otherwise? Are we individual or are we just part of a life, which is experiencing itself in diferent hue and colours, and we spoil it up by adding this element of " I " . Where this " I " fits, if it is not the one who breathes, and the one who digests the food to keep us alive and healthy. Is not it a separate mechanism, which has its own intelligence ? Have you ever realised that the two things, which keep us alive, that is breathing and digesting is beyond our limits, and it happens on its own. Once you realise this, you will feel that you are just a medium in this experience of life which is experiencing itself. There is no question of good or bad, as life wants to experience everything. We unnecessarily get happy or upset by sequence of events, thinking that we are important and it is our life, whereas actually it is just life, not your or mine. We are all different forms of the same life, which you might call Awareness, Consciousness or God. But since we don't realise it, we have a very different perception of this life, full of happiness, sadness and what not ! delete
Guest guest
-Hari Om, Namaskar to all, Very well expressed thoughts. More or less I have felt the same way We are all striving to find the answer for that question " who am I " .When some one dies we say he is dead and that which was the person till that time or the remains is called a body. What is it that is dead?We are all it appears apart of the a great energy call it whatever u may like.Scientifically also conservation of energy law states " energy can neither be created Nor destroyed. but can be converted from one form to another. Narayana suktha says Atman is in the center of the heart shaped like a inverted lotus and size of small husk. That is Atman. So we what we call as soul appears to continue to take births at various form till vasanas and karma are exhausted .I have also wondered many times whether our existence could be a dream. In dream we experience various things and when we wake up it is different and gone .Some times we don't remember the dream or miss some details. we may be in a dream state and suddenly wake up to find ourselves in different place or if dream is a reality when we wake up we might have left behind all those with whom we associated and who continue to be in that state .Probably that is what could be life and death.I don't know its a loud thinking . Guest guest
Hello everybody, If " I " is not there, who is trying to improve - thru Gyan, Sadhana, Yoga etc. And if that " I " is a part of consciousness, he already knows everything. Where is the question of learning then? It is the EGO, the self (Not the SOUL - he knows all, that is there to know), which is trying to improve or may I say acquire POSSESSIONS - whether it is a Mercedes or Spirtual Knowledge. Please enlighten me. ranjan triyambakeshwar <triyambakeshwar wrote: -Hari Om, Namaskar to all, Very well expressed thoughts.
