Guest guest
People usually say WHERE IS GOD? when they are going through a rough patch and they doubt that He can help them. But, this is quite an intriguing character, once you get to know more about God. For centuries people have wanted to know and find God. You might have noticed in your life that when we are in trouble or pain, we often remember those people who have given us comfort and guidance - parents, siblings, friends, teachers etc. The same occurs with God. Since we have received some kind of peace, pure love from this source, we want to go back to it. Many feel that God does not exist. But all living form on earth require some source of energy. Nothing runs on its own accord. Similarly when we humans drain ourselves of our positivity, our zeal and enthusiasm for life, our peace of mind, we need to go to a reservoir to re-charge our mental battery. Science does not believe in anything that is not tangible or something that cannot be physically tested. But the world is full of things that are not LOGICAL - relationships, emotions, thoughts. We cannot experiment on these, we can only experience them. Similarly, God's power is so magnificent that our narrow, limited intellects need to effort in order to feel it. Human beings have looked and done millions of things in order to reach God. But that is difficult when we do not have a good description of God. Human beings have become so confused with all the different opinions and given up - there probably isn't any God. But to know who God really is, we have to understand what characteristics such a divine, almighty authority will have. God should be * universally accepted (God should be such a form or entity that will be worshipped by all souls. He is not just my spiritual Father, but the Father of all souls - Parampita) * uninfluenced by the effects of sorrow and happiness (always in a state of bliss, balance between love and detachment) * Knower of the 3 aspects of time (knows everything about the past, present, future) * Never enters the cycle of birth and death (anyone who takes on a body becomes trapped in that specific era; our body becomes a barrier; we cannot know about everything that is happening in the world at a particular time - but God does) * Lastly, God is a benefactor (He never takes anything, always and ONLY gives; He does not need anything because He does not have a body. With a body, there are numerous things we need to give it for proper growth. But God is the only soul that does not have a body of His own. He always works selflessly.) God is a separate, conscient point of divine energy, who has a particular home, somewhere beyond our universe, and that is where we came from. That is our true home. As souls, we lived there and then came on earth to play our roles as actors, as Shakespeare put it. People today, shy away from spirituality and religion, but that is the only thing which will protect us eternally.
