Guest guest
Dear friends and like minded persons – more particularly BRAHMINS worldwide I pray GAYATHRI MAATA to grant all BRAHMINS world wide – unity in approach and unity in actions. Unfortunate it is, – “Brahmanaanaam Anaikyam…” – this intellectual core group is, perhaps, cursed by some one not to remain united. Each one individually is an excellent personality, but when comes to a group, the group is turning out to be a laughing stock. The Sastraas, Puraanaas and what not, the essence of Philosophy and rituals are brought to the Society by Brahmins. Utter confusion is created by Brahmins of various regions, with regard to rituals and even almanac too, for many reasons which can not be written here. My recent mail on “Ugadi” day is an example when a group of Brahmins convinced the Government on a day while the other group contradicted this. Ultimately the position is that, Brahmins are not consulted for, nor accepted to perform rituals, these days. I have seen this practically during the course of travel to different places. People respect astrology; people respect offering of oblations; people respect Vedic order of life and what not. We, the Brahmins have caused utter confusion and committed a sin – an unforgettable and unpardonable sin, ultimately causing damage to the Hindu System, ignoring the Vedic order and establishing OWN style for whatever motive it is. Now the platform is shifted to INTERNATIONAL LEVEL too when one Brahmin contradicting with the other group for reasons best known to him. I appreciate the letter dated 17th April 2007 of Shri Purushottam Sharma President BSNA and others – More particularly when they invited Shri Nirmalji for a common platform to resolve any issues with an intention of establishing unity. WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING TO THE COMMUNITY INDIVIDUALLY, UNITY IS A MUST AND THE SOLUTION IS A COLLECTIVE ACTION. Let us ignore individual images and let us remain united. Let us sit together and solve any issues during May 26th and 27th and let us all remain useful to the Society. This is what is a must now and let there be only one World Brahmins Conference. Let us see that other do not laugh at us at least. Guest guest
Dear Friends, A person born in a Brahmin family does not suffice. Ones actions and conduct should be such that it befits a Brahmin. The Brahmins were respected earlier by all communities and looked up to them for guidance because of their exemplary behaviour, conduct and knowledge. Today the majority of brahmins are hypocratic. Many of the Brahmins do not know our scriptures/mantras etc. It will serve no purpose (except political/social) if the Brahmins come together without promoting the vedic injunctions by way of living them.
