World Brahmin Meet - Programs which can be added

My dear friends and like minded persons

 

In the context of forthcoming World Brahmin meet on 26th and 27th May at

Washington DC, I volunteered to serve the community to the best of my ability.

 

Today I have requested a few of my friends to go to the three seas and collect

water. This is proposed to be added to the Ganga Jal. I am also trying to bring

Holy Krishna Water, Holy Godavari water, water from Manasarovar and Kailash to

pool up for prokshana. Efforts to pool up Yamunaji, Saraswathiji, Sindhu waters

too. I am leaving for Himalayaas and on my way I desire to meet the Sadhu

Samaaj to support our movement.

 

There is a method of making a prayaschit sankalpa which will be done usually

at such Holy meetings. This is a 10-15 minutes program where every one has to

utter the Sanskrit version which will notify the mistakes done by us. Thus we

realize the mistakes and sins, so that they are not repeated henceforth. Holy

ladies group has to carry the pooled up water to the venue amidst chanting of

Vedic mantras. We may also make out 16 Kalas for this Holy Procession of 100

ft or so with the Worthy Mother ladies of our houses.

 

This will enrich the occasion and those attended will purify themselves

through this process. Then the HOLY WATER POTS ARE WORSHIPPED and the water are

sprayed on the heads with Kusa (darbha). This process is believed to clear off

all the sins of all of us till that time.

 

Sri Chakra Archana is believed to grant us boons – and is believed to help us

completing the unfulfilled tasks. There is a system where SUVASINIs are

worshipped – in other words the Housewives are worshipped treating them as

MOTHER GODDESSES.

 

If the organizers are arranging any gift to the ladies who are attending, then

such gifts can be handed over to them during this time. Or if some one comes

forward with blouse pieces, they can be distributed to the ladies, or some such.

 

The next one is Brahmachari worship – the young boys for whom Upanayanam is

over, they can be worshipped and small gifts be given to them.

 

The last one is respecting the elderly couples – Dampati Pooja. The Dampats

can be assembled at one place and they can be worshipped as Lord Shiva and

Goddess Parvathi.

 

All this may not take 10-15 minutes for each item and if the organizers

accept, these programs can be incorporated without basically disturbing the main

program and its time frame.

 

Please think and let me know so that I can come prepared for all this.

 

Ultimately, we will do our best to make this program a grand success by all

possible means and MAKE THIS A HISTORICAL UNFORGETTABLE EVENT.
