Guest guest
Dear Sir, This is a vast subject and I will attempt to share with you what little I could Imbibe from my Gurus.Panchadasi and Shodasi come under the vast subject of Srividya. Panchadasi has 15 letters of three kutas(Parts)first with 5 second with six and third with 4 bijaaksharas. There are many variations of this .But mainly 12 forms of Panchadasi is well known practised by Manmatha or Kamraja, Lopa mudra, Agastya, Chandra, Kubera, and others. The Normal form of shodasi is to Add Srim bija at the end of Panchadasi. There are variations like mahasodasi,Guhya Sodasi ,Sowbhagya Panchadasi and so on.You will many variations with different Bijas as practiced by different guru paramparas. To day widely practiced is Khadi Vidya and hadi Vidya as practised by Kamaraja and agastya. The pronounciation is of utmost important as to how many matras each bijs is to be given while doing Japa. This should be learnt from a guru.Varivasya rahasya gives details on the matras for each bija. Its a vast subject. You can also refert to web site www.srilalitha.org and post your queries. In some of the mantras given in texts and references the letters used more than 16 bija akshara (letters) for shodasi mantra and that too expressed in different orders also seems confusing. What is the correct order of the mantra for ucharan and how the worship of shri vidya be practiced. > > chandra
