Visit to Holy Naimisharanyam

My dear friends and like minded persons

 

Wish you all Happy Holi. Several reasons have contributed to my silence in

the recent past though most of you showed your concern and anxiety through mails

and phone calls to ascertain the reason. Change of residence, delay in internet

connection at residence, ill health, continuous inevitable tours and similar

such, have their role for this length of mailing silence. I could not respond

many mails too.

 

As indicated earlier, myself, my wife and other friends have left for Delhi on

12th March 2008, on our way to Holy Naimisharanyam in Uttar Pradesh – the Holy

land of Vedic Origin in the Country. Naimisharanyam is situated in Sitapur

District of Uttar Pradesh and it is adjacent to Shahajahanpur on Delhi-Lucknow

High Way. I have placed lot of information about the Holy land in the newly

created blog spot http://holynaimisharanyam.blogspot.com and I request all of

you to visit the blog once to know what Naimisharanyam and what for it stands.

 

Every year there would be a fifteen days long parikrama ending on the bright

ninth day of Lunar Calendar Phalguna Maas which normally falls in the month of

February/March. A few lakhs of saints visit the place making out a parikrama

most religiously. I am up keeping all the information available with me with

some documentary evidences in the blog for the reason, such a length of the

information can not be accommodated in a mail like this.

 

Any way the blog will be further updated in a day or two with lot of further

information particularly regarding the visit of Dattatreya Bhagavan and his

divine appearance.

 

Since this mail itself is delayed by a month or so, I am just mailing this as

pilot information. Please wait for some more information.
