Regarding:  Pushkar to Holy Tungabhadra River from 9th /10th December

 

I welcome you to the fourth Shri Aswamedhayaagam year  which is commencing from

coming Monday.

 

The Pushkar for Holy Tungabhadra River commences from the evening hours of 9th

December and lasts till 21st December.  It has been our continuous practice to

support the Pushkar pilgrims by providing them food, shelter, medicines etc on

need based and this continued on a large scale till 2005 - the time of Holy

Aswamedhayaagam.  Later, due to various reasons, the process is slowed down, but

it is not given up.  Every year we religiously visit the Pushkar places and take

a dip in the Holy Waters while offering oblations to the departed souls.

 

This year, in continuation we are leaving for Kurnool  /Alampur / Humpi (the

place will be finalized in a day or two) and we propose to offer oblations to

the departed souls, while supporting the pilgrims by offering food etc to the

extent it becomes possible.

 

12th December, Friday is a full moon day and therefore we will be performing Sri

Chakra Archana in continuation, preferably at our residence. 

 

14th evening hours we propose to perform Holy Yaagam where we will be offering

1000 modak laddus as usual every month to Lord Ganesh in connection with Sankata

Hara Chaturdhiat our temple or at any other tempe if we continue our journey to

Pushkar during that period.

 

Myself and my wife desire to leave for Forests for a week or so from 19th

onwards as is being done every year for meditation purposes. A detailed program

with regard to this trip will be mailed and it may not possible for us to be in

close reach to internet during that week.

 

Those who are interested to join us for the Pushkar program, they are welcome,

and those who can not attend personally for some reason or the other, we may

help them through a separate paid  pundit appointed for this purpose and what

all we need is the names of the departed family members and the Gothram. Those

who are interested may use this opportunity.
