Guest guest
To The Chief of History Channel Sir I appreciate the way in which you desire to present " the Past " to the " Present " and the " future " and in word " it is an excellent exercise " . People like me watch your channel more than any one since we are interested to know what the " Past " was. However, the Channel is co-existing with Western Culture and mostly related topics are presented and not that of absolutely " Past " and aged. History, you will agree. can relate to any subject, any region, any land and any culture, not specifically only to Western Countries and of the recent past since 17th Century. It is really a difficult task to procure the details of the " Past " with some kind of authenticity and present such material in a palatable manner which the " Young and the Present " digest and accept. I understand what it is. It is also a " MUST " that you should be impartial to the task and regardless of your sentiments, your belongingnes, your attachment to an area and son on. Please look into the Indian History and take all opportunities of presenting the " True " and value based history even dated back to an age " not noticed till now by the History " . The artistic beauty and the culture of Indian Society is misunderstood by the " Young " , rather " misrepresented " to the new generation as a result, the high rich culture of Indian Tradition and History is abused, given a inferior image, FACTUALLY WHICH SHOULD NOT BE SO. Please look into the live examples like the Madurai temple in Tamilnadu where a one hundred thousand stone carved (excellently which even the modern world can not think of) and which was witnessed by Historian like Megastanese etc. I place on record in this letter, having toured more than 55% to 60% of the entire country to its nooks and corners, that there is a history in one out of every fifteen to twenty villages you visit. No where on this earth you find such historical significances other than in India. It may be a fact, that we are not in a position to preserve all our " Riches " of the past due to several invasions and so on, but you must appreciate, inspite of the destruction to the bottom, the history is still available and the history is " Not built up " . The Indian culture did not try to overpower nor it has an ulterior attitude of over ruling the sentiments of others on the globe, please do not treat this " Basic nature of Indian Culture " as their weakness, but surely it is a " Strength " as such it is surviving. People like me can give me excellent account with an authenticated history base which can be taken to the Globe with all fairness by a Channel of your Standard. There are good number of evidences and those evidences which can be better explained by living legends and intellectual exccellencies all over the country, particularly in the parts of Tamilnadu, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajastan etc, (I can not restrict them to these small areas - but they are there all over India). People of " Future " will definitely appreciate for your " Fair Exercise and unbiased Presentation " and you are the only hope. Please do this in this direction and we wish you all the best. Please also look into the Tribal lives of India and you are sure to look into their amazing talents which even " Science of today, tomorrow or any time " can not explain. They are that rich.
