Guest guest Posted September 1, 2009 Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 My dear friends and likeminded persons The subject matter on Gothra and the Pravara caught the attention of many and I am rather quite happy on seeing the innumerable mails I received. Many desired to know the pravara of their Gothra since my letter on this subject could not cover many Gothras. Some of them were heard by me for the first time and I felt it as my duty to procure necessary information and present the same more exhaustive to meet the needs of the present and future generations. Towards this, I have already started drawing information from authentic sources and I am also in touch with elders who may also contribute on this subject. However this exercise takes some more time for consolidating all the information and finding its authenticity and presenting the same for all of you before placing the same in a separate blog for this purpose. I also appeal to all those who ever receives this mail to pass on information known to them and add Gothra and Pravara which were not included in the earlier mail generated by me. This would help me to upkeep the information and see that we all reach the subject to the maximum and give a proper coverage. I am planning to visit Dallas in Texas on 7th of September and stay there till 11th wherefrom I would be going to Florida to return back to Albany New York before Dasara Festival.
