Guest guest
Dear srividyapriyas, Ammani loves poetry very much. She is called kavithapriya. She gave power to Vageshwari who wrote the litany of her thousand names ''Lalitha sahasranama''. It is a poetic marvel in sanskirt which has no human parallels. Trishati is another one. Mother used to come to one person in Chennai, I know of and explain to him poetry in Taoism! " spirituality... " she used to start in Queen's english. Iam blissed by Her leelas even in this kaliyuga when so many impure vibrations in the air. There is also a poet by name Pandurangan who became famous of the temple in chennai(see message 56 for contact information). He was an ordinary man who was walking in midnight near the temple when Rajarajeshwari devi appeared in the form of bala before him and asked what he was doing there at that odd hour near the temple. He said he was vexed with his life.He dint know it was Bala! She then whispered something in his ears and vanished and he started rendering versesin tamil with great felicity as if he were born from the mouth of Godess Saraswathy!(Mind you,he was not even a greatly educated man in the language).... This incident reminded me of Kalidasa. It has inspired me to scribble a few lines on her...call it a doggerel or a poem or mere scribbles of an emotional scoundrel..its upto you.... Sanihitya, samarasa pura, Rajarajeshwari The litany of surges from within, Runs deep into thy trikuta and the din. Ma! Parambike save subodha from the rise of " I " Swaranayike cut these emotions a-la-stalks of rye. Purgatory, heaven and the resultant matrix Please put me into thy compassionate eye fix, shaaktha, paraa, madiraa, manukampitha, shall I be but damned In thy ever glorious vision and the eternal unnamed? Gloating on thine dunes of time bound I seek future as my dumping ground Thy maya infinite in my eyelids Bhattarike ma! Make it heavy a-la-throns on my anuloma Shantha, ahetuki kripa, sauparnika merge me, In this spiral called susushmana for free You weild the noose and the goad to heights fury Ma!Sanihitya, samarasa pura, Rajarajeshwari! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At her Saffron lotus feet, I remain, Subodha
