some beautiful songs on Ammani

Dear Friends

Usually we think that from cineworld mostly the music is nothing but

trash. But there are some gems too. I know about 3 such songs.

1. In 1960s one telugu movie came JAGADEKAVEERUNI KATHA....In that

movie there is a song SIVASANKARI SIVAANANDA LAHARI sung by great

gahntasala...It is belived that till now no body could sing like

him..IN 1990s there was aTv show to spot music talent PADUTAA TEEYAGA

on ETV.In the final rounds this song was taken as measuring yard.

2. In 1980s A movie by name saptapadi directed by Sri.K.Viswanath.In

that movie there is a song ...AKHILANDESWARI CHAMUNDESWARI PAALAYAMAAM

GOWRI.It describes Maa's MAHALAKSHMI,MAHAKALI, MAHA SARASWATI rupas

beautifully.

3. SYAMALA DANDAKAM in Mahakavikalidas sung by GHANTASALA.

If you get an oportunity plaese listen to them..You will feel peace

and her compassion.

Some times I feel our group should have audio section too.so that such

rare songs and other important slokas can be uploaded.But I donot know

about the possibilities. Only Sri Subodha should know.

Dear Shivani Gaaru,

 

Thanks for the input! I myself am in lurch regarding this audio

thing. I just fiddled a bit with the database and that was all. I

asked services regarding this and till now I got no reply.

 

But i remember seeing a group(with a saraswathy photo on it's home

page) with it's music and i wanted to put something like that for my

homepage but i have no clue how to go about it.

 

I asked pradeepbalakrishnana as he is a software Geek in USA and

till now he has not replied.I think he too is hardpressed for time.

 

If any member knows how I can install some music and animation for

my homepage and also accomodate Shivani gaaru;'s advice regarding

having an audio section it will be beautiful.

 

The actress in that film sapthapadi incidentally is my father's

relative and very great dancer too. She is my cousin sister. And I

have been to K vishwanath's house in Madras kodambakkam,director's

colony and had a chat with him and his son. He directs very

beautiful films on spiritual and artisitic subjects.He wanted to see

me again but later I had to go to an audit trip and lost touch and

contact with him. Hope he takes a stunning film on Rajarajeshwari

devi or srividya worship and make it popular worldwide....but he is

getting very old these days. As I said befire films can be put ton

good use.

 

ghnatasala is a very famous singer too and was a distant relative

from my father's mother's side(Vepaa ramesam and family ..he is my

greatgrandfaher from my father's mother's side). So many great

people that I feel like a dwarf standing on the shoulders of gaints!
