In the Ardhanareeshwara form Amba and siva are half and half in one body. Thus Amba Rajarajeshwari devis said to have committed a theft!! Can you imagine my dear mother commiting theft? Poets play with such concepts or even apparently ridicule them. A ridicule will push one concept into it's next quantum jump. This is what was found by me. Now this is a big theft my dear mother has committed "She has stolen her husband's entire body. Is not stolen property kept hidden? Thus Amba in her form of kameshwari and ardhanareeshwari has concealed her husband's body in Her. Not only is she guilty of stealing it, she has swallowed the property stolen!" This has been expressed in saundaryalahiri as: Tvaya hrtva vaamam vapur-aparitrptena manasaa Sariiraardham Sambhor-aparamapi sanke hrtamabhuut Yadetat tvadruupam sakalamarunaabham triunayanam Kucaabhyaamaanamram kutila-sasicuudaalamakutam! To cut a long story short Amrta,the ambrosial nectar,that is siva cannot be shared! It must be consumed wholly. Amba Rajarajeshwari devi did precisely that.
