She is the embodiment of loveliness, grace, beauty, and charm, and is depicted either seated or standing on a lotus flower with palms dropping gold coins. The Vedic literature says she has a "face like the full moon, eyes blessing humanity with grace." The day of Maha Lakshmi is a good day for yagyas for wealth, prosperity and fulfillment, growth, affluence, good fortune, and bliss.
