Different Stories in Different Puranas - WHY?

Dear Seekers,

 

I was wondering why the stories differ in different puranas, what is the problem for consistency? Then when I looked at the brahmakalpa, then it kind of gave me an answer to the whole picture, but it is still obscure and it might still take a lot of births for me (my soul) to know the Paramatma.

 

 

If people have attended any puja, we tell the time in which we are doing this pooja.

 

Dwitiya Parardhe , Sweta varaha kalpe, Vaivavata manvantare, Kaliyuge. Lets decipher,

 

Dwitiya Parardhe = 2nd Parardhe of Brahma. Brahma's age is 100years lets find out from this how many eartly man years is 1 day, then we will see how many billion years does this Present Brahma lives for.

fifty years = 1 parardhe,

 

So we are in his 2 part of his life.

In that Sweta vara kalpa ( one brahma day which 12 hours of creation + 12 hours of destruction). In one of his day.

Vaisvata manvantare (7th manvantara) out of 14 in a kalpa.

And Each manvantara has 71 divya yugas (1 divya yuga = 4 different yugas which are Satya + Treta + Dwapara + Kali) Lets take Kaliyuga = 1200 Deva years and 1 god year = 360 man years..

 

Calculated value which will be mind boggling. Now where are we just completed 5000 Kaliyuga and more to go.

 

And if this information is given to a person not seeking GOD, this is depressing. But for a seeker, this is to known that all the things that are happening have already happened ONCE. Just that the soul going through is different.

 

 

That's the reason, when Sri Hanuman and the other 30, 000 monkey went in search of Sita Mata, Only Jambavan knew all, what will happen, where are we going to go and who will find oout Where Sita is.

 

And there is a story that When Rama said no you cannot come to Jungle with me and he was very adamant about it, then Sita says to Rama " NO Rama has never gone to jungle without Sita? " there would be no Ramayana then.

 

 

That is why when Babita, tells about the story in which one time Adi Parashakti created the Matrakas from self, and other purana tells that they are the Shakti's of other GODS, everything could be true, depends on which Kalpa and which Manvantara we are talking about.

 

I am another seeker, seeking more, but just wanted to add this. So many years to go, but GOD has given a chance to seek him whenever he has given the soul a human form. But also covered by the 3 gunas, which the soul has to see beyond that to seek him. If not GOD's MAYA will tie him down to do the Karmas that soul is covered with. Deep thought.
