Guest guest Posted August 6, 2005 Report Share Posted August 6, 2005 Dear Srividya Upasakas, As the posting title suggests I will let out one secret in srividya upasana(requested by one elderly member who has recently taken initiation into srividya) It is this: KOORMA PRASTHARA. Among the 1008 varieties of prasthara. Only a few are known to Kaliyuga Manavas. Kooram Prasthara is one. Koorm Prasthara Mahameru is one of the oldest, and precious Yantra. "koorma prasthara" means Mahameru which is mounted at the back of tortoise upwards. Meru Yantra is highly sensitive and has magnetic powers. It helps in clearing all the negative energies, standing in our way of peace, prosperity and harmony. This Meru yantra is a veritable divine store-house of energy. (Other mahameru's have to be insulated) The Koorma itself is a very powerful and protected living being and can live in water and land simultaneously, but does not harm any body and is anon-violent creature. It can be had in different sizes as Small, Medium and Large. It can be placed either at thefoundation of a house, temple or at the strongroom, locker and cashbox etc. In all, it is a rare, spiritual antique which helps to lessen the ill fortune and rotten fate. But I prefer this Mahameru to be kept in the puja room and done puja regularly than just keeping in the locket or cashbox without energsing on a day to day basis and giving it naivedya.
