Dear Members,

Here are 13 snippets of the temple of ''ennaieendathai'' Rajarajeshwari.

1. This temple is built according to Srividya tradition(Parasurama

Kalpam)

2. Rajagopuram is built according to Durga Rahasya Tantra representing

the essence of Durga Sapthashathi.

3.Only Srividya upasakas properly initiated are allowed to do puja to

the vigraha and the mahameru placed in the temple. Others are allowed

to archanas with the help of the srividya upasaka preist in the temple

like in any other temple. Here noone is shown any partiality in doing

puja and there are no VIPs here for the temple who can sit before the

idol and do puja with their hands except with the permission of

gurunatha satisfying some srividya terms.

4.This is not an AGAMA PRATISHTHA TEMPLE So gurkkals and Shivaacharyas

cannot do puja in this temple.

5. Utsava vigraha is a swayambhu(syambhu means self-forming...it

emnated from a big ruby which emnated from the fires of the homa kunda)

6. There is a varuna dhanvanthri Theertham in the temple in the form of

a small well to cure all ills.

7. Magilam tree(maghizham) is the sthala vriksha(tree of the sacred

site)

8. 43 highly powerful and big yantras are installed in the temple for

devi here.

9.15 tithi devis are on the steps here with yantras which cannot be

seen anywhere else in India.

10. 16 steps represent not just the 15 lunar phases but the MAHASHODASI

MANTRA ITSELF and where the devi sits atop the MERUGIRI.

11. All Rajarajeshwari Devi Temples were built according to shiva agama

vidhis and this is the only temple built like this in a different way

according to the divine instructions of Devi herself.

12. Sage THIRUMOOLAR also refers to this temple and place in SHAKTHI -

BEDHAM-TRIPURAI CHAKRA CHAPTER DESCRIPTION AS " edangai Nangai irai

engal mukkani " (which goes to prove that Nanganallur is the original

place (sthalam) for Rajarajeshwari devi.). It was later revealed that

thousands of years ago exactly at the same spot a temple for

Rajarajeshwari devi existed.

13. Sree Agastya Maharishi has written verses on each thithi devi and

these verses cannot be seen anywhere else except this temple.

Sri Rajarajeshwari Devi's order:

Thithi Devis are here in steps. Offer purified kumkuma(being sold for

rs 5 ) in the temple. Outside kumkum is not allowed.

Thi is done to ward off all evils in your family...this kumkum should

be offered in a box before ascending the steps of the temple and the

day's thithi and the pertaiining thithi devi's name is to be chanted

along with your gothra and name and star and drop the kumkum without

opening it saying your wishes to the great Varapradayini.

To fulfill your immidieate wihes a sugarcandy arachana can be done.

This too is purified with mantras and kept and not be obtained from

outside. KALKANDU ARCHANA(SUGAR CANDY ARCHANA) COSTS A NOMINAL Rs.15.

If no kumkumaarchana is done then there wont be any benefit. So it will

be left for you to decide.

Srivishnu sthalam here adjacent to sri rajarajeshwari removes KALASARPA

Route to the temple: Chennaibeach to tambaram railwaystaion: --get down

at PALAVANTHANGAL STATION. Temple is just a stones throw away but you

can take an auto also which will cost you anywhere from Rs.15 to Rs.20.

Hope this helps people who want to have a darshan of

SARVAMANGALA RAJARAJESHWARI DEVI OF NANGANALLUR.
