Guest guest
Shri Brahmadaru Smarami Dear Friends, I resisted commenting on the sarpa threads, but as a jyotishi could not hold not myself back any longer. Parasara speaks of Sarpa Yoga, that is when three malefic planets occupy kendra houses in a natal horoscope, as well as of Curse of the Serpents, when Rahu along with another malefic planet afflicts a house, thereby denying childbirth. Correctly, snakes are depicted by Rahu. Kalasarpa Yoga commonly feared by many in India, is when the planets fall between Rahu and Ketu (agree rahu adho ketu madhye sarva graha). Kalasarpa Yoga can be broken if there is a benefic planet conjunct these nodes, then the remedy of that planet will bring about a break between the ages of 43-45. Worshipping Shiva is one of the main remedies for Kalasarpa Yoga. Worshipping Garuda (the eater of snakes) for bad snake dreams is recommended by the Garuda Purana. Unfortunately, in India, the temples mint money in the name of Kalasarpa as astrologers instil fear in the minds of innocent people. Kalsarpa or Sarpa means that the burden of karma from the past birth is heavy and one undergoes that much more suffering in the present life. The spiritual practice of such people should be intense. The stronger the spiritual practice the easier the life becomes for such people.
