Dearest Respected Group Members-

 

I Pray that you all are well........I have just joined the group, and am very grateful to be a part of your learned group that shares so selflessly.

I would be highly appreciative if you can please offer me some guidance and help on some of the spiritual practices, as i am new to these practices but would like to learn more and practice more. I would like to be guided on the following :

 

 

I have just started to learn about the sri chakra.......I am very keen to learn how to worship a sri chakra. I donot own a sri chakra yantra as yet - but i was told that if i say the sree khadgamala strotram with a picture of the sri chakra this worship is sufficient - also if i offer kumkum to the chakra, whilst saying the sri khadgamala strotram namavalli - this will also be sufficient......also the recitation of the lalitha sahasranamam to the chakra is also the right way to worship the yantra? As i am new to this , i am unsure which is the best way to effectively worship a sri chakra yantra. Please help me with this problem that i am facing. I have also heard of sri vidya, is this a special mantra to recite, and is it also connected to the worship of the sri chakra?

 

I am also looking to purchase a sri chakra yantra, however i have heard that special prayers should be done to the yantra to invoke the divine energy in it.......can anyone please let me know where i can purchase an authentic sri chakra online. There are so many sites on the net however i donot know which is a genuine site to purchase from, and there are so many different metals and material made into sri chakra , which would you recommend? I have also seen a 3D yantra, is this meant for higher priests who can do the complete worship for it?Also how does one keep a yantra? - must the plate be left on your prayer altar- or must be be kept covered in a cloth? Is a sri yantra the same as a sri chakra?Will a yantra have any effect if it is just kept in a home, or does one have to worship it daily for it to have any effects????If a yantra is kept in your home without worshipping it , will there be any negative effect on you that can befall

you?Basically i am a beginner and would like to know the proper way to worship a sri chakra yantra.

Namaskar. Welcome to the group.

 

You may wish to peruse the Blue book kept in our files section

regarding the worship procedures for Srichakra.

 

You need initiation first into it. You may wish to contact Swami

Rajagopala of Nanganallur Rajarajeshwari temple and have darshan of

the deity. The contact details can be had from the first file of our

group.

 

All your questions have been answered in my old postings. Please

peruse them.

 

To answer in brief

 

Lalitha Sahasranama needs initiation too.Many people these days are

doing it without initiation though.I leave it to you.

 

Khadgamala can be done and kumkumaarchana can be done.

 

By 3D yantra I think you mean the Mahameru.Well it is very powerful.

Though some say Sri Yantra is a concentrated form of the 3-D and

hence it is less powerful,I do not agree.Each has it's quality of

power and it is not a quantitaive thing.

 

First get initiation. Contact him immidiately. He seeks no money or

advertisement.Sri Chakra means the 2D form. Sri Yantra can refer to

either srichakra or srichakra Mahameru(the 3D form) though most use

SriYantra synonymously with Srichakra.

 

Yantra must be kept in front of you with the five triangles facing up

(away from you) and four triagles toward you.

 

Rest of the questions have all been answered in various postings of

mine.Please peruse them.
