Dear Shreeram Garu

It is said that GOmata is Sarvadeevatha Swaroopini and one who is in shrividya will be benifited more if he feeds a COW .......GOVIKI GRASAM SRIVIDYA KI AAROO PRANAM this is a local saying which my grand mother used to say .........and in many temples like Kanchi ( strict followers of achara sampradayas ) take a cow and devi herself talkes the darshan of the GO VRUSTA BHAGAM which is considered as lakshmipradam ....can you put light on the significance of GOVU in our hinduism ( HAINDAVAM think remember my querry about haindavam )

Dear Mohanji,To answer your query briefly...Feeding a crow will help in sadesath but if you want to feed a cow(i think it is a typo..anyways) you can do so too for it's blessing. Blessing does not mean the cow will stand up on it's legs and say " Anna data Sukhi Bhava" Just a look at you from it's eyes is enough to transmit the pink fire of love from it's heart.Peacock feathers are kept in house to ward off evil and evil spirits. Some use it for removing spirits and fever. There are some sabar mantras for using peacock feathers. It is best you approach a good tantric and learn it.Though all these are not necessary for one who is doing srividya upasana.Yours yogically,Shreeram BalijepalliRajarajeshwari_Kalpataru , "Mohan Kumar HG" <mohan88hg@i...> wrote:>
