Dear Bradley ji,

It truly is a beautiful representation of Rajarajeshwari Devi.

Rajarajeshwari means the 'Queen Goddess of all Queen Goddesses''. Rather the Empress.

The three faces in the picture represent the Three Goddesses Shivani,Narayani,Brahmi whose amalgam is the Rajarajeshwari devi who emerged when the trinity and the rishis prayed in the himalayas.Noone knows who the deity is and all the gods and goddesses merged in Her and named Her Rajarajeshwari Devi.

The centre face is Narayani-Female shakthi of Lord Narayana.

The face to the left of the centre face is Brahmi-Female shakthi of Brahma

The face left to the right is centre face is Shivani-Female shakthi of Lord Shiva,

This is much akin to Dattatreya Symbolism where He is depicted with three heads representing iconographically and symbolically Vishnu,Shiva and Brahma.

Lotus symbolises awakening of the heart. When the heart is unawakened the lotus droops down when it is awakened it raises and stands erect near the place where the soul-spark is said to lie near Anahatha Chakra.

Also it is symbolic of the avarna petals beneath Her Feet as She is the Srichakra Nayaki(The administrix of Srichakra)

The weapons in Her hand symbolise the destruction of evil. Bhandasura vadha being the pertinent case. She was gifted the khadga(sword) by Vishnu along with a bow. Brahma gave her the lute(veena) and Lord Maheshwara gave Her the Trident(Trishula)

She is also shown with vedas and a rosary(akshamala) in Her hand. Which symbloises wisdom. Sort of a Taoistic reference to the state of things.

The Sudarshana chakra is to show light 'su-darshana' means 'good direction or sight or vision or light' and also to annihilate enemies. It's esoteric significance is to destroy innner enemies and show light in the self.

The lotus in the hand symbolises that She has the heart of Her devotee nearest to Her and everything else in other hands. Also since She is a Shringaarapeetha Nayaki according to some traditions She beatifically poses thus for Her Peethaacharis.

In this picture She is found radiant with Lakshmi devi to Her right and Saraswathy to Her left. And She is shown as per convention as Parvathy or the wife of Kameshwara as Kameshwari.

It is said that when the Gods approached Her and asked Her to marry. She emnated from the homakunda and threw a garland in the air and said "I will marry the God upon whom this garladn falls and adorns his neck else I will not marry''. And it is said that Shiva rupa ''became''(it is marma(secretive thing) what actually happened) Kameshwara and the garland fell on Kameshwara's neck and She in turn became ''Kameshwari'' and wedded Him.

Continue praying Divine Mother Rajarajeshwari Devi with whichever form your heart pleases. She will ultimately come in that form or a more radiant form which will satiate your heart with inebriation which cannot be typed or spoken about!

Suchathalaam,Sunayanaam,Sahasrajalajaam!

My Sweet Sweet Sweet mother Rajarajeshwari Devi...

Yours yogically,

Shreeram Balijepalli
