Guest guest
Dear Members, I am a new member of this group and also new to Devi Worship. In this initial stages, I have some doubt about the names of Devi's and much confused. My problem is I have seen many names of Devi i.e, Rajarajeshwari, Annapurna, Bhuvaneshwari, Tara, Amba, Shyamala and so on and some people take a name and some other take another name of devi for worship. I request members not to take it as an offense or so, but my question is a sincere one. If anyone feel something wrong in my question please pardon me. I am clear about the concepts of Devi Saraswati, Devi Lakshmi and Devi Parvati. I also understand that Lalita Tripurasundari Devi is the combined shakti of the said Trinity. But I am not clear about all the other names. Can anyone help me. Regards, Kannan
Guest guest
Dear Kankanji, There is nothing to be confused about Devi is mother. See the " mother " in all and in your heart and your doubts will melt all by itself. Ok to answer your mind which has asked these questions. Rajarajeshwari devi is the combination and more of all the devis whom you have mentioned. The deity's full name is LALITHA SHREE RAJARAJESHWARI MAHATRIPURASUNDARI PARABHATTARIKA DEVATA. This is a very big name. For 'Pamaras'--the appelation Lalitha was selected Srividya upasakas refer Her as -Rajarjeshwari and in some traditons like Keralachara as Mahatripurasundari. Parabhattarika Devi is the name used by advanced yogis(including Turiya yogis)In this rupa she wears a sacred thread which is revealed only to Her natha. i prefer the name RAJARAJESHWARI DEVI not just because iam a srividya Upasaka but because i love the majesty befitting that name. IT MEANS THAT SHE IS THE EMPRESS. SHE VERILY IS THE EMPRESS OF MY HEART.MY DEAR DEAR SWEET MOTHER. OM OM OM AUM AUM AUM AUNM AUNM AUNM Shreehi...Shreeram Balijepalli p.s:Please refer all the postings in this group. Not even one is irrelevant or wayward talk. Itry to maintain quality to the best of my ability and accordin g to the directions of my Gurunatha.
