Guest guest
Dear Kannanji, Yes,it does require initiation. Lalitha Sahasranama Trishati and Khadgamala require initiation. Infact according to some Trishati is even more powerful for three reasons 1. It has emnated from the divine lips of Paraamba Shree Rajarajeshwari Herself 2. It is an explantion to the panchadasi--if you peruse Trishati you will find that each stanza starts with one syllable of the panchadasi. Thus the panchadasi Tatwa is imbibed by the aspirant. Which makes it all the more necessary for the aspirant to get intiation for Trishati from his Guru. 3. Rishi Agasthya was at the feet of Hayagreeva Bhagavan for many years before the hesitant Hayamukha Lord gave the trishati to the devoted Rishi. This makes it even more worthwhile to practice and chant. This litany was granted permission by Paradevata to be chanted by Agasthya and other Kaliyuga Manavas with due corrections however (The trishati we have is not the original yogic one but still it is of high power). Please see my old postings where I mentioned all these. But you may do the 25 names of the Rajarajeshwari for high power without initiation. I have posted an article by the name 'panchavimshati Devi Naamaani' please peruse it for the twenty five names. Hope this helps... Yours yogically, Shreeram Balijepalli Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru , " kankan_73 " <kankan_73> wrote: > > Dear Shreeramji, > > Please let me know whether Initiation is required for chanting Lalitha > Trishati Nama Stothra. > > Thanks & regards, > Kannan >
