Dear All,

Let me add a few points here

Panchamakara tatwa has Mamsa bhakshana as one of its components.

Now, the higher esoteric concept is to overcome the 'flesh sense'

by 'eating' it and it in no way refers to the actual eating of meat

as practiced by Vamaachaaris.

However, Iam not against the practices of the Vamachaaris(as Amba has said that

both Vama and Dakshina are Her two eyes) and if they know how to transfer the

Atma(soul) of the animal without rendering any pain to the organism they can go

ahead with the 'Bali' or the 'Bakshana'.

Unfortunately, with the exception of a handful(who do not come out

of the secretive conclaves) no one knows how to do this. And those who boast that

they do it obviously are talking through their hats(rather their bellies!) Hence

they all

incur a bad karma obviously.

Many just give the 'Bali' or have the 'Bakshana' just to satisfy

their palate or some pervert desire inside to show their Machismo.

If they really want to offer some flesh, I would suggest to them to

offer their own if they have the guts or rather so much of love(they claim) for

Amba!

This has been done by a few practioners when they reached the

zenith of their devotionality and not the height of an emotive-

devotional frenzy(in which too some torture their bodies). The former is a

natural outcome which occurs sometimes but the latter is just 'hypering' oneslf

without any true feelings.

There is always a subtle line which differentiates between the good

and the bad. If one cognizes this line, one can transcend both and not get stuck

to just Anuloma(right vision) but rather go beyond....Para-Anuloma!

Paranulomically yours,

Shreeram Balijepalli
