Guest guest
Dear Friends, My Father has a very serious drinking problem and he has been doing this for the last 25 years. My mother has been dealing with him patiently for so many years directing all her efforts in raising the children to be successful. Now that me and my sister are outside India, the pain that she is still going through is heart wrenching and makes me cry in pain. There are numerous occasions when she cannot even talk on the phone as my father had just come home drunk and is on a tirade against my mom, me any every body else.I would consider my mom deeply religious and she believes in Shirdi sai baba. I know she might be burning some bad karma but is there anything that could alleviate her pain. She confided in me saying that she would like to see pandaripuram with dad and prays Shree Shirdi Sai Baba to change my dad. Is there anyway we could make him stop his drinking. We considered rehab centers but there is just no way he would come go near it as his ego is way too strong to admit his problem. No matter what he is my dad, and I hate to see him slip away like this and his health has deteriorated with diabetes and heart problems. Any spiritual guidance or advice from the children of amba so that I could bring joy to my divine mom. Thank you, Venkat DSL Something to write home about. Guest guest
Dear Venkatji, I empathise with your situtation. It is unfortunate that your father is turning to such unhealthy paths as an addiction. You should meet Swamiji(Rajagopala Swami) for a sure shot solution. He has cured some cases like this when approached by family members. It is all because of your father's past vasanas that he is behaving like this also his karma with alcohol is not yet over. You can however cheer up as it can be recitified by Swami Rajagopala. If I advice you to do some mantra or visit some temple or do Gayathri mantra , it will take lot of time and lot of burning of karmas in your hand. Also you mention that your father is not interested in ameliorating his condition. This fiurther compounds the problem. For a fast solution you should meet swami Rajagopala and seek His help. His contact information is in the first file of the group. Please look into it. Hope this helps... My prayers are with you and your family. Do not worry you have taken the first setp toward Amba and She will take thousand steps into your heart and heal your heart of the pain. Jayosthu Paraamba!
