Guest guest
Dear Gobinderji, This subject has been delat by me both in this group and other groups. Please peruse first message number 1274--rudraksha dharana mahima in this group 453-trujuti rudraksha and also message numbers 1528,1529,1540,1549. There were many more queries, but I do not remember the message numbers. You may try the search option for more. KT SHUBHAKARAN has written some good books on rudraksha. There is also one book by name 'Rudraksha and its bioelectrical properties''-- it is the thesis work of a person who did his Phd in it.(He is an electrical engineer from India) All these books can be got by making a search in www.amazon.com by typing the keyword as rudraksha. Indramala as you have asked in the subject title is very difficult to procure because it has all the available faces of rudraksha in it plus, gowrishankar. It will raise you to the status of Indra if you wear it and do sadhanas on it. Right now, I wear a siddha mala(which I remove when I sleep or go to the loo). Rudrakshas must be worn after doing a proper puja and panchagavya snana or abhisheka for it.(Panchagavya means the five prodcuts that you get from a cow), I bought the Panchagavya in better way from kottakal syurveda which sells Mahapanchagavya ghrtiam which contains many number of herbs too. Panchaamritam can also be used for the snaana. Then it must be kept in deiva sannidhi(altar of God) for a few days and then worn. Remember one thing though: THE MALA WHICH YOU WEAR SHOULD NOT BE DONE JAPA WITH AND VICEVERSA. You might also wish to join a :Rudraksha beads society run by one rudraksha selling company from Nepal. Hope this suffices... Guest guest
Dear Gobinderji, Firstly, Iam not a Sadhu in a strict sense. Iam married and am an young student studying in a college here.Iam just sharing whatever little I know with the guidnace and grace of Guru and Goddess. Secondly, wearing a Rudraksha alone cannot sunder your bonds from endless births.Though some sacred texts say so.(They say that to emphasize the importance). Yes, it definitely helps in giving the right vibrations and hence make you grooved to the path. But perse it does not do so.The only force which can do so even if the person is an absolute fool is the GURU. Kabir Maala Kaath Kee, Kahi Samjhave Tohi Man Na Firave Aapna, Kaha Firave Mohi Kabir, the rosary made of wooden beads explicitly proceeds to educate (If) you set not your mind in (a focused) motion, (then) to what end you rotate? In other words, Kabir now goes a step further in giving a new dimension to the purpose and usefulness of the rosary. In this doha, Kabir using a metaphor – where he equates the rosary to a teacher – candidly advises the aspirants to focus on directing the mind towards their spiritual goal. Kabir asserts that mere rotation of the rosary is useless and futile with a wandering mind. However Rudrakshas are a potent source of power not just Shiva's vibes but general spiritual vibes. I remeber Swaprakashananda Avadhutha used to rub Vibhuthi to rudrakshas and wear it for a few minutes and give it away to his devotees vividly when I was a small kid.(i was in my second standard that time) When I used to ask him for a mala. He would jocularly say, " Nee endhukayya? Emi ippude sanyaasi avudhaamane? Mee amma oka kodukuni kolindhi inko kodukuni kolipothe nannu champuthundhayya! " (Why do you need a Mala? What? do you want to become a sanyaasi now itself? You mother lost one child to god before you(meaning my elder brother who dies at the age of 13 years chanting the name of Shiva and going into coma), if another child is lost(as an ascetic) she will kill me!) My father is a big time fan of Rudrakshas. I personally find that too much leaning into toys(even for that matter Mahameru exsternally) will viel a bit the perception. However it will be of temendous use for the wavering mind to be controlled though later on as Kabir says atecher is needed to control the 'mad dog tied to a pole'! Thirdly,no subject is tough or difficult if it is broken down and analysed with Devi given intelligence into small chunks and assimilated. Do not get bamboozled by 'sacred and 'pious' people who will indoctrinate concepts of mental superiority in the name of religion talking about shuddha vedanta while in an ashuddha shareera! Using big sanskrit terms to fool people. Vasantha kaala samprathe' Kaakah Kaakaha! Pikka Pikka Pikaha~!! (When the spirng comes crow is a crow and a cuckoo is a cuckoo!... It is said in the context of cuckoo laying its eggs in the crow's nest and the crow tending the cuckoo egg as its own by hatching it too and when the spirng comes and the egg hatches open, out comes the cuckoo and the crow kicks the cuckoo birdling out of the nest and the cuckoo flies away!) One can twist this upamana(metaphor)) in any way one wants...one can say true siants are like the crows and when the time comes a cuckoo will be kicked out. Or truly learned people are like the cuckoos as they leanr everything from the pedantic and learned people and when they hatch (read enlightened) they fly eventhough they are kicked and excel (cuckoo is praised for its melodious notes) Fourthly, beware of Naga rudrakshas being sold by some organisations they sell it by carving out from ordinary rudrakshas. Sawar rudrakshas do not even exist these days.Gaurishankar rudraksha is faked by joining two ordinary rudrakshas and so on and so forth.... many spiritual charlatans also abound and teem in the spiritual rudraksha bazaar. So beware and do not get a euphoric feeling that Shiva has descended by wearing a 'betelnut rudraksha'!! Cucooo Cucooo Caaaaw Caaaw!
