Dear G(name withheld upon earlier request), I do not know how I can make you pronounce Ksham(which is the main Beeja).I assume you must be knowing Devanagiri script as you were in Bombay. It is 'Ksha' plus 'um' sound. Now, in

Kundalini yoga. the letter mantra KSHAM is called Garuda bija (bija means seed sound) known as the poison destroying mantra. Mythology teaches that Guruda is the king or god of the birds. His food is snakes, which he hunts and destroys. Snakes have different connotations; in this situation they represent the slithery side of our nature, the crooked spiteful actions and darkness that lives in humans. Snakes are also connected to venom, poisonous substances and poisonous diseases

such as cancer. Guruda is the archetypal energy that destroys venomous evil tendencies within us. He is the destroyer of poisonous diseases, cancers, and diseases caused by toxins. He is the remover of mental, emotional and physical toxins within us. Meditating with the mantra KSHAM does this for us. The sound can be focused on certain areas of the body where toxins/cancer need to be removed. It can be chanted in general to purify the whole body-mind. This is apart from the fact that Ksham is associated with Prathyangira Beeja. Ksham in the above diagram is below Om. I was asked to discontinue and concentrate on Rajarajeshwari more because Iam deeply into Srividya Upasana and also for the other reason which I mentioned in the earlier e-mail. That is precisely why, if you remember, I had written stop it during 'those days' and also during pregnancy completely. It creates Yoga-Ushna(yogic heat). So do not over do it unless you can handle it. Also one must do a lot of Gayathri mantra to balance the nerves when doing Prathyangira Mantra(some say for every Prathyangira Mantra 1008 times of Gayathri...but I think that is stretching it too much without taking into consideration the poorva janma sadhana bala.).However, if you are not able to handle the mantra, please stop it and do many rounds of Gayathri Mantra(given to you by your Guru or father during brahmopadesha). Let me stop here for now, do not worry about the coconut moving while doing the Japa.'L' was telling me that you were very afraid when the coconut started moving on its own accord. She and me had a good laugh at your expense! I apologize any soul would have quaked in its body when such paranormal things happen and that too in such a distant land like Korea!(Indians are used to such 'magics' to the point of ennui, I should say!) The mantra which I gave you is really powerful and since you are very sincere and honest, I gave you that. But please also inform your preceptor about the mantra. Some Gurus might not like their shishyas taking the mantras from different sources. In this respect Iam very strict, if anyone offers me a mantra I first ask my Gurunatha for vettoing and if he says 'Yes', I proceed. These days I do not even ask...I simply do not take!, as I am satisfied with Srividya Upasana... what more can I ask?(Since you have Panchadasi mantra already given, try doing the Navaraana pooja according to your Mandali or sampradaya after consulting with your Gurunatha) As you have observed the effect firsthand(Coconut moving and other magic works! while doing the mantra, I know you got hooked to the mantra but let me also tell you that Rajarajeshwari Shodasi Devi is the highest in the Devi Pantheon and she does not dole out such gimmicks while doing say the Panchadasi mantra(initially) except by way of dream experiences or some 'accidental things'. She is Para satwa and hence will show the results in a 'delayed' yet perfectly accelarated Karmic manner. Never rush things in spirituality. Spirituality is of the 'spirit', if your spirit is not yet ready and wants some more time then you should be patient.Since you were lamenting that nothing was happening on the spiritual front. I just gave some magic to make you believe and show the puissance of Devi and that such things exists and can be wrought in this Kaliyuga with faith. These are not tall tales or some superstitious nonsense!(Yes, it is non-sense as it is beyond the senses!) Lastly one final caution before you continue Prathyangira Maha Mantra Japa, let not Ego and 'over-enthusiasm' cloud your perception.Let bliss alone be your goal not 'power' or 'miracles'. ... Bliss which emnates at the Feet of Bhavani Rajarajeshwari! Also, there is no order of difficulty in miracles. One is not ''harder'' or ''bigger'' than another. They are all the same. All expressions of love are maximal. Miracles as such do not matter. The only thing that matters is their Source, Which is far beyond evaluation. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from Love is a miracle,a blessing and eternal bliss! Om Ksham Hraam Beejaprerithaayai Namaha Swaha! Blissed, Blessed! Eshwaree Rakshathu! Shreeram Balijepalli Dear Shreeramji I read with rapt attention your sequel on Prathyangira Devi. As per your advice. we are continuing the mantra jap on devi with utmost earnestness. SInce you have stressed about proper pronunciation of mantra, I would request you to tell us the correct pronunciation. We may be doing it correctly, but I thought there is no harm in asking. You have mentioned that you have discontinued it on

advice of your guru. I have no right to ask you for the reason. Since you had earlier mentioned that it should be done life long continously(some small breaks cannot be avoided), there arose a query in my mind whether there will be a point in our life that this mantra jap has to be dicontinued by us ? Regards G
