Guest guest
Namaste All, I have a question about a devi called Vijaya sundari. In my astrology practice I have come across mantras which invoke this devi to attract a marriage partner.I have heard she is an attendent of Parvati's. How is she viewed in sri vidya? What are her qualities and how is she interpreted in sri vidya? Thanks for any insight you can share on this.-----Buvaneswar
Guest guest
Dear Buvaneswarji, Vijayasundari is called a 'Chelikatta Devi' of Parvathy. Chelikatta means an attendent. She is thus an attendent of Parvathy Devi. Some call both Vijayasundari and Balasundari to be small amsas of Parvathy possessing some small powers. She has no prominent place in Srividya. The name does not come as a devi to be worshipped. Her qualties per say are Divine(not a rajasic devi). She is prayed for small time favours and also for marital problems(and getting married as you say). Yours yogically, Shreeram Balijepalli Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru , " buvaneswar3 " <buvaneswar3 wrote: > > Namaste All, > I have a question about a devi called Vijaya sundari. > In my astrology practice I have come across mantras which invoke this > devi to attract a marriage partner.I have heard she is an attendent of > Parvati's.
