Guest guest
Dear All, i think it is about time that we formulate a " Guidance For Introductory Help For Different Cultures " on this forum as it will make communication easier for those wanting to understand Sahaja Yoga and Shakti. Once the person is 'settled down' nicely, then they are confident and happy and can enjoy people from different cultures in Sahaja Yoga. The 'Sahaja Culture' is still very new and still very 'Hindu-oriented'. Can we have suggestions as how to overcome the problems associated with seekers of different traditions trying to understand the Shakti? i doubt if Christians can explain well about Hinduism and vice versa. We need SYs to specifically answer to seekers of similar background so as to prevent any confusion. They should be well- versed with the knowledge requested and thus give confidence to those seeking truthful answers. It seems that most non-Hindus think Shakti is an exclusive Vedic deity. i beg to differ on this. The Shakta Advaita Guru is within all as Shakti (Holy Spirit/Ruh/Eykaa Mayee/Shekinah/Tao/Mother Kundalini/Divine Mother). It is Her incarnation Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi who has synthesized all religious traditions into a harmonious whole and given evidence of this all-encompassing Divine Feminine. kalima_777, i would gladly have answered and given evidence of all that you are looking for. i would also have convinced you that the Temple of the Shakti (Sahasrara/Kingdom of God) is 100% Shakshat within and you need not seek temples in India to pay homage and perform puja to Her, (though you are free to visit for the sheer pleasure of pilgrimage.) i have done years of puja to Her, even prepared vegetarian dishes every Tuesday and Wednesday for over 20 deities. (Conditioned and ignorant SYs will not be able to bear what i have recorded as witnessed by those who served the Divine Beings.) Unfortunately that site http://adi-shakti.org/ to cater for seekers like you is yet to be populated. Thus i would advise you to first read some of the 1500 web pages available at http://adishakti.org/ and decide what to do next, i.e., whether you need to seek the Shakti in India. You are free to ask questions here too. warmest regards, jagbir , " kalima_777 " <kalima_777 wrote: > > about Goddess worship & India ---- > how to become a hindu shakta ----- looking for Shakta Advaita Guru > > OM HRIIM KALI ------- > NAMASKAR , > thank you very much for your dedication to > Kali Ma . > i wrote a while ago to you , am a bhakta shakta sadhaka > totally devoted to The Goddess / Divine Feminine , > especially MAHA DEVI BHAGAWATI DURGA MATA > KALI MA . > I am looking for information about pooja to Devi , > especially food offerings to Kali Ma and other aspects of > The Goddess . am interested in sattvic worship only > ( vegetarian offerings ) . > also , i will start a pilgrimage to all temples and sacred sites of MAHA DEVI PARA SHAKTI and would appreciate if you could help me with some information , which i could not find anywhere else , such as : > temples and other places of worship of Maha Devi , > especially DURGA MA & KALI MA and MATAANGI DEVI , > and also i would like to know if foreigners are allowed to enter these temples . > from what i know , some temples allow and other not , > but i think everyone should have the chance to worship > Devi. i only want to prostrate before Her and offer some > flowers and fruits . > please kindly help me with any information , if you > wish . > furthermore , i would like to join a Shakta sampradaya and enter oficially hinduism , there is some information about > how to become a hindu in the pages > www.hindu.org and www.himalayanacademy.com , > but still i'm a bit confused since i can't figure out > where and how exactly a westerner devotee can be admitted > in hinduism through ceremony . > but hopefully all this will be solved in India , > thank > you > humbly awaiting a reply , with respect , Somaadi , > ambaji_777 >
