Dear Rajashekaram Garu, We follow the Guhananda Padhadhi with some modifications(slight) to do the Srividya Homam. Well, you have asked me to completely type out the text of Srividya homam. It is not possible on two counts 1. Paucity of

time 2. My Guru forbids me as of now. If you are interested and if you really want to do it yourself then you may wish to buy the book available with Swamiji. To answer your query would mean to elaborate on the whole Srividya Homam process. These days some do a Laghu version of it by just adding swaha to each Avaranadevata gayathri mantra or the Khadgamala devata gayathri mantra. But that is not Srividya Homam done in a proper way. The Srividya homam has the following components 1. Prelimnary homacharas like Peetha mantras, Paristharanam, Paatrasadanam, prokshini,Praneetha,Brahmavarnam,Ajyasthaali, Parisheshanam, dhyanam(apart from avakundanam of the homa pit) 2. Pradhana Homam 3.Tithi Nitya Homam 4.Navavarna Homam 5.Panchapanchikaa homam 6.Shaddarshana Homam 7.Aaamnaya Samsthi homam 8.Mahavyahruthi Homam 9.Bhakshya Homam 10.Jayadi Homam 11.uttarangam 12.Lepakaryam 13. Poornahuthi(invoking the poornahuthi devata) 14. Vashordhara 15.Agni upasthanam 16.Prarthana 17.Rakshavidhi 18. Samarpanam. Thus these eighteen facets make for a Srividya homam. I have done it just once in my house with the help of the book blessed and given by my Guru. It was quite an elaborate affair and needs lot of patience and sitting in the same position before the fumes. Only, if you have the 'opika'(the cant and

inclination) please do it. You have asked if one can do it daily!. Yes, there is noone to prevent you from doing it daily. Only thing will be that you will not have time to do anything substantial for the whole day except the Homam! Rest I leave it to your good self do decide, Yours yogically, Shreeram
